First viable pregnancy here. My hair used to be a medium to dark brown color. Since becoming pregnant my hair started to come in as a blondish color. Now it's coming in gray! What the heck!! Anyone else turn gray from pregnancy? And it's not just one or two here and there. My roots are all coming in gray.

Mine never turned colors or gray. I'm not sure how old you are, or if that would even be the cause during pregnancy. Are you stressing maybe?

I'm 32. No stress really. It has been a very uneventful pregnancy so far. IVF to have a viable one but that's about it.

Stress actually isn't linked to grey hair at all, it is linked to hair loss, which can make your greys appear "more". However your hair can turn grey at any point during your life, for no explainable reason, other then your hair is losing its pigmented colour.

Hoping maybe after the baby is born the pigment will come back to my head. 32 is way too young to go all gray!

Hate to break it to you guys but my high school boyfriend started going grey in the 12th grade. 

It was kind of sexy then. His hair is very white now. He's still really young. 

How quickly you grey is due to your genes. If your parents greyed early, you will too most likely. Pregnancy can do weird things to your hair though (mine got curlier and doesn't grow anymore) and i'd get a second opinion on what i'm saying - it IS genetic but it's possible pregnancy can cause it to happen too. 

Hopefully not. Grey is permanent.

I got greys during the 3rd trimester of my first pregnancy... not many but enough to notice. Pregnancy hormones are a funny thing - they have caused the texture of my hair changed dramatically. I now have at least 4 distinct curl patterns and it grows like a weed.

My mom is 62 and not a gray on her head. My dad started getting them right at 60. Lol my husband started going gray at 16. Guess I can only wait and see. I tried to get my hair colored a few months ago while doing IVF treatments. Color didn't stick at all. Stylist said it was all the hormones. Eek! Here's hoping I can get it to stick soon. I'm in a wedding in 2 months and don't want to be a gray and brown skunk.

I actually started coloring my hair at age 12-13, because of random grey and white hairs I would always get. @-) They're not showing now. And I'm about 18-19 weeks along. But if they show, they show. I'm not stressed out at all, either. Maybe it's genetics? I'm not sure.
