I should add-- I may or may not have stopped on my way home from work for an ice cream cone at Baskin Robbins, and ate it by the time I got home so my DH didn't know. Oops.
I take my vitamins and I have always eaten healthy but I love to cheat! Last weekend I ate everything, we had just found out and I said I don't want to think about eating healthy for 2 days. Pizza, philly cheesesteak, chicken wings.
This week I have done ok. Yesterday I was SOOOO exhausted by noon I didn't think I was going to make it through the day. I ate a cheeseburger and fries and it gave me all the energy I needed for the rest of the day! I even was able to stay up past 9. So Totally worth it!

Chili's nachos. I ate them during 1st tri with my 1st pregnancy and now the craving is back. Other than that, it's more aversions for me. I can't stomach the thought of most foods.
ugh yesterday i was soon hungry & nothing sounded good. Until a Big Mac from mcdonalds popped in my head. ugh that first bite was so amazing but after i was finished i felt terrible. no moreeee i hope haha
Ok, I know they are SOOOO BAD!! And I promise I won't eat it very much, but I have this SERIOUSLY uncontrollable craving for Ramen Noodles! I think it's the salt. I haven't found much that sounds good this week, so I've decided to eat anything I can get to go down without feeling sick. So I bought some ramen noodles......I KNOW, I'M SORRY! I can't help it. They sound so good!
I didn't buy a case or anything. They were 5 for $1, so I bought 5.
I ate 3 bomb pops yesterday. You might say I have a popsicle thing going on. I've emptied almost the entire box in a matter of 3 days. Other than that? Cheetos and ranch dip. Sounds awful, but it's AMAZING. And I can keep it down and not feel gross. Which is a major plus.
Spicy nacho Doritos and sautéed spinach, separately. And Reese's cups (which I usually hate)! Last pregnancy I craved spicy nacho Doritos crunched up into mashed bananas, but I have no bananas in the house right now to see if that's a thing again this time.

I'm on this whole bland carb+salt kick, so ramen noodles sound excellent to me!
I just want to put it out there that it's National Hotdog Day. I do love a good Chicago-style dog...but I am trying to avoid some of the pregnancy no-nos.
After having all day nausea for over two weeks, my doctor put me on diclegis on Monday and I am finally starting to almost feel like a normal person again. It used to be a chore trying to convince myself to eat meals. When I did eat, it was usually the thing that was the least unappetizing, rather than something I actually wanted to eat.
So now that I'm starting to get my appetite back, I'm eating fun stuff. Donuts on the way to work this morning and not even sorry about it.

Fruit Loops. I could eat that for every meal, same as when I was pregnant with DD. Soooooo not good for me. Buuuuuuuuut I can justify it a little since DD helps me eat them now so at least I'm not eating a bowl every night for dinner all by myself. That makes it okay, right? I think it's okay.
Coconut yogurt and ice cream... or anything coconut. And salt and carbs! I'm still feeling guilty from Raising Cane's chicken fingers and fries yesterday, so I'm trying to do good for lunch today. I'm sad to say I would die for some McDonald's right now

Oh man that made me think of Lucky Charms. I could really go for some Lucky Charms.
I just thought about it and I might have to give into a rice and beans craving. Like Mexican style. We might be getting Mexican food tonight because yeah...

Mezzetta Pepperoncinis ... I've probably eaten two 1/2 full jars in the last two weeks. Have three more in the fridge. Trying to limit myself...
That was a big craving of my last pregnancy. There is probably still a full jar in the back of my pantry, LOL
Sooooo glad I'm not the only one I trekked through Walmart juggling three jars, a jar of hot banana peppers and a jar of capers (cause us know, I went in to get one jar...didn't need a cart)...looking like a lunatic. Ate 1/4 of the jar before I got home.
Onion rings with BBQ sauce I had to get them from Burger King but I really wanted Red Robin onion rings but they don't have Red Robin in South Carolina. :-S
Random... Refried beans, green chilies & garlic salt on a tortilla. I've never even had this concoction in my life & couldn't get it out of my head from Monday to Wednesday so I decided to make myself one at lunch yesterday. Haha it was so satisfying & delicious. weird. Now it makes me want to vomit even thinking about that^. I did NOT know cravings were possible this early.
Ice cream has sounded horrible so far until today. I got a bean and beef burrito with green chili and right next door was a custard shop. I have a chocolate/peanut butter milk shake in hand.

So... haven't felt like eating anything at all until at least 11 am when I have my homemade smoothie, (found out about the little one 1 week ago today!!! And this is my first ever pregnancy, so total newbie at all of this) but after about 1 pm I'm consistently hungry. So far my worst has been skittles..... I know, I know... I blame the gummy prenatal vitamins, makes me crave gummy candy... haha.

Totally bought popsicles today because of this comment.

Where'd you find gummy prenatals? I've been searching everywhere!! Giant horse pills for me
Oatmeal, any kind but apple cinnamon is my fave even though I didn't like it before last week! Everyone thinks I'm nuts eating oatmeal all day in July, lol
I had a giant sized mint chocolate chip milkshake from UDF. It was so good until about 20 minutes after I finished it when I felt like I had just guzzled a 5 lb bag of sugar. I have noticed that since becoming pregnant I cannot stomach sugar as much as I used to, but I still crave it.
The only thing that sounded good on Wednesday was a Hungry Man frozen meal... I hadn't had one since college and I specifically grabbed it at the store to eat for lunch. Gross.
Had real ramen yesterday and it was amazing. And then chicken fingers with honey mustard for dinner. Clearly I just want all the carbs and all the salt. I don't consider it cheating though, just surviving. I tell my husband that if he felt hungover 24/7 for 10+ weeks he wouldn't want to eat yogurt and salads either.
@amiranda2 I am not happy about giving up summer cocktails and my wine! I wish I was one of those women who was turned off by it once I was pregnant. It still sounds SO GOOD. Also, you can probably have 90% of the cheeses you want. Just read the label at the grocery store, and if they're made with pasteurized milk then you're safe. I have been eating feta on my salad every night.
