Hello. New to high risk but have been around the nov 15 for awhile as an infrequent poster.
Just looking for some support as my son was diagnosed with VACTERL last week at 21 weeks. In addition to his many defects, he also has facial malformations and brain involvement. His hemivertebra affect his entire spine. He has a very poor prognosis.
The amnio came back negative for any chromosomal abnormalities. I'm meeting with the pediatric cardiologist this week in addition to an MRI to try to further define the defects and see if surgery is even an option.
If anyone has any experience or insight, please share if you can. Or private message me if you want. I'm considering every option at this point.
