The nutritionist at WIC today said my DD is gaining too much weight and that we're feeding her too much. She sleeps all night and when she's awake, she eats anywhere between 6-8 ounces every 2.5-3.5 hours. The nutritionist says this is too much and we shouldn't formula feed on demand. I'm sorry if it's already been covered but I feel like if the doctor isn't worried, neither should she. Any feedback or personal experience is appreciated. She's 2 weeks away from being 4 months now.

A friend and i had babies a day apart from each other and her baby (breastfed) is about 2 kgs more than my (mostly) formula fed baby. So weight gain can vary either way.
But definitely ask your doctor over them
