Intro to this board

Hi ladies! I'm somewhat regular on August 2015 as well as over 35 and high risk boards. I'm scheduled for a c-section in 9 days. My husband and I have been married for 3 years. This is my 7th pregnancy, but, I just have one child, a son, 15 years old from a previous relationship. My other pregnancies were missed miscarriages.

I'm so nervous to be starting over again with an infant! Are there any other moms out there with a large age gap between kids? How did your older kids adjust?

Welcome! & Good luck! We have a 6mth old. And 3 other girls who are 8, 12 and 14.
To me, even with just 8 yr difference, it felt like having a baby for the first time. I forgot everything.

@mandyreads Wow! You have your hands full! Hopefully, your older girls are helpful with your youngest. My son has already expressed he will not be babysitting or changing diapers! Lol!

I'm seriously feeling the pressure knowing I'll have an infant in the house again very shortly! Honestly, I'm terrified! I hope I didn't forget everything, but, that is a deep fear of mine. It's like being a ftm again! Everything in the world of babies is so different from when my son was a baby! With any luck, I'll remember things quickly and get right back in the swing of things!

In just the 8yrs since I had our DD3 sooo much has changed. It IS like being a FTM. But hang in there and you'll get it.

And yes the girls fight over DD4. The oldest even started changing diapers the other day. Only took 6mths lol
