what do your LOs love to do? DS (8wks) loves to go swimming in our neighborhood pond. I swear he looks forward to it, and he kicks his feet and splashes his hands as if he were swimming!
Weird as it sounds, DS loves having his diaper changed more than anything!! He also loves trying to stand on tabletops and looking at himself in mirrors.
Looking in mirrors, and now having her tummy tickled. She's also decided her swing isn't killing her, and will spend a few minutes trying to bat at her dangling toys there.
My guy absolutely loves chilling on the changing table. It has a little mobile type thing which he loves. He also likes going for drives especially now that we have a little mirror installed. He also likes trying to copy mom and dad's faces.
My DS loves his play gym and lights (8 weeks) and he absolutely hates when I try to read to him haha. DS tried to laugh for the first time after I was laughing at his reaction to his daddy - he mimicked me and my heart melted.
DD loves to be outside, car rides (as long as the car doesn't come to a stop), stroller rides (as long as the stroller doesn't come to a stop), the ceiling fan and that little boppy pillow that came with the play mat.
DS loves to be worn, to be outside, objects on the ceiling/walls that only he can see and his little cow blanket toy.
Peekaboo, baths with his sister, ceiling fans (this seems to be popular!), stroller walks, colorful artwork on the walls, batting at toys hanging from the bouncy seat, and his favorite activity of all.... BREASTFEEDING
DS loves hearing music. Especially the wheels on the bus. His favourite is the horn (but that might be because with every "beep beep beep" I poke his bellybutton, chest, and then nose - he smiles every time).
And apparently I need to introduce him to our ceiling fan by the sounds of it...
Haha DD loves the ceiling fan! Playing on her play mat, her mobile, getting her diaper changed, people talking to her, being outside, bath time, car rides (I love when I look back and she's just staring out the window) and breastfeeding. Anyone else love it when baby smiles while feeding, it's just the cutest thing, DH saw it over the weekend and he also thought it was adorable.
Supported standing is her favourite, such an intense look on her face as she tries to figure out balance. She is extra excited if there is music while she's standing, and likes to wiggle her butt to the music haha
My daughter loooooves going for walks on cobblestone streets!! We have so many here in Germany but it is her absolute favorite. The biggest smiles stretches across her face when the uppababy vista starts to rumble. Whenever we are out and about the locals love to coo over her love for the movement. It's pretty funny
I'm cracking up over the mutual love for ceiling fans. My little lady's first laugh was at the fan. It's seriously her best friend - we call it a "silly" fan.
She's also pretty fond of the blinds but they don't illicit the same reaction.
We co-sleep, so this week she's decided the orange pillowcase I put on my pillow is the best thing ever - to the point she just laid in bed after I got up for 30 minutes staring at it, cooing. Who knew? The ceiling fan has also been replaced in her heart by her light up safari mobile over her crib (where we do some tummy time and play time every day in case, you know, she ever sleeps there and knows what it is).
My LO also has a new love for her mobile she just smiles and watches it and she talks to it. I forgot to switch it to off one day and she actually turned it on herself by kicking it at 5:30 in the am. I looked over at the monitor to see lights and she was just in there watching it contently
