I didn't know I was pregnant !

in 2nd Trimester
i didn't know I was pregnant until I was 17 weeks !!! And I definitely did things you shouldn't during pregnancy , I stopped immediately but I feel horrible . I saw my baby on the ultrasound and he looked perfect , yes HE because they could see his penis and scrotum.

    I also have a 7 month old which might explain why I didn't know I was because I wasn't thinking or actually showing until I found out !

    Same thing happened to my friend several years ago.  She had a really light period for 2 months, was working out a lot and had lost a bunch of weight, so her cycle was completely off. I give the background story, because this was her first.  The symptoms she was experiencing were all normal period symptoms and she didn't think twice because of the 25-30lb weight loss.  She didn't get a period on the 3rd month, so she took a test and found out she was pregnant.  Went for her first check up and they told her she was having a girl. She was 17 weeks along too. She drank occasionally in the months leading up to that, took no prenatal vitamins, was taking dietary supplements and working out pretty intensely.  Her daughter, other than her strong willed personality, turned out just fine.  Good luck with everything!

    That is crazy!  I hope everything is alright with your little one. The good news is, you only have 23 weeks to go!!

    I didn't find out until I was 13 weeks and I have a friend who didn't find out until 33 weeks! My doctor says my LO seems perfectly healthy thank goodness and my friend had a beautiful healthy baby girl :) hope everything goes well with the rest of your pregnancy!

    Same thing happened with my sister - and for a lot longer than 17 weeks too! 

    She had regular bleeding and thought her periods were just wacky, especially since she's irregular normally. She must have been close to five or six months before she claimed she knew. 

    Her daughter is not only fine, she's brilliant. She's 15 now and advanced in every way.
