I actually started my professional life as a chef! A saucier. Did that for a year before I realized that I have talent but not speed. So I changed my focus. How do you stand the smells? I can't even cook at home right now. The fridge makes me terrified.
It was super super challenging at first. I was running outside every 5 minutes! The smell of meat cooking still sends me running. I actually have a lavender eucalyptus salve that I use for headaches that also works well for warding off bad smells
