Personally, I agree with waiting till marriage but not for "moral" reasons, it just makes it easier insurance wise. My husband changed jobs and i'm getting on his insurance because who knows, maybe i'll be too sick to keep working or maybe he gets a huge raise and i get to be a stay at home bum i mean "mom" (lol, its a joke, i dont have anything against SAHMs). That's about it for my reasoning for it, unless you have a job you LOVE with kickass benefits (i have good benefits but hubs's are better). anyway, its just nice to have options but whatever.
I agree with the fertilaid thing - it has vitex in the mix and it made my cycle wonky. Also, spotting is nothing to be worried about. If you're really scared go to the Dr. but usually you an spot for a multitude of reasons. Please get a copy of TCOYF.
I'm offended by your SAHM "joke" and I'm not even a SAHM.
mmmm I said "stay at home bum" because I obviously dont have kids, so I cant be a "stay at home MOM"...for someone who prides themselves in being snarky and awesome and makes fun of "noobz for being totez butthurt" some of you ladies sure are quick to be offended at everything. Dang.
Since some of you SAHM's took my comment wrong, I apologize, it's my dream to be a SAHM if finances allow. It's the highest privilege and the most rewarding thing in the world to be able to spend everyday with your babies.
Cant help but feel like some of you ladies are holding grudges....

All my SIL are stay at home moms and I hope to be as well if finances allow. For all of you who are sooooo snarky and awesome and LOLz noobz are so butthurtz you sure cant take a joke. For someone who sure does claim to have thick skin some are very talented at holding grudges....hmm....you dont have to answer my questions, there are thousands of people in the community. BUT since I offended some delicate flowers, please forgive me for making a joke. My husband and i use it frequently and do it just to poke fun at the stereotype. Again, I would love to be a SAHM.
Insulting people while "apologizing" is the complete opposite of an apology. So you can keep it. Additionally, having thick skin has nothing to do with not wanting to deal with rude, obnoxious people. You came in and literally called us "douches and trolls." That's not someone I (and many others) have any desire to help. If you had said (a sincere) apology, we may have just forgotten. You name call and then want all the information. Yes, you may get some questions answered but YOU burned those bridges. Don't get upset just because we remember who you are.
I'm not upset. Since everyone finds everything I say and do offensive, even if it's not, because you seek to pick apart everything I say JUST so you can flame me harder, I'll go back and delete all my posts and quite posting questions since I cause everyone so much pain. Although I still think it's a little ironic that even online communities have cliques that love to single out people. Oh well. I appreciate all the helpful advise I received while on here, good luck to you ladies, and I sincerly apoligize to any wonderful mother who my comment offended. It was honestly not meant in that way at all AND i responded too quickly and in a rash way originally because i had no clue my comment had that many responses until someone tagged me in a post. If i had known I would have edited it immediately. BUT since the damage is done, I'll go back to the shadows. Take care and good luck.

FTR, not EVERYTHING you say is offensive. Literally only the 2 I was referring to (when you called us names and the "joke") so I think you're being super dramatic with that comment. This is the first sincere apology you have given to this community.
Believe it or not, we all say stupid things and if you had slowed your roll a lot sooner, no one would even care or remember what went down. It was because you continually throw out back handed comments instead of just saying "I didn't mean to offend, sorry." That's completely different from "I'm sorry, I didn't realize you, who all insult newbs all the time, were such delicate flowers." :-??

I know, my original response was not nice, and i apoligize - which why i went back and edited it. If i knew how many people took my comment the wrong way i would have remedied it much sooner.

While I accept the apology, I don't think anyone took anything the wrong way. You clearly said "stay at home bum" JUST JOKING, I love SAHMs. In what way was that taken the wrong way? Bum = mom in that statement.
Anyways, I'll let sleeping dogs lie but I just wanted to mention that I didn't think the statement was misinterpreted.
Thanks for the apology.

If you want a big wedding and all that stuff before kids and the struggle of losing the baby weight to fit that dream wedding dress then I'd suggest you wait and enjoy things one step at a time. But that's just how I looked at it. I've always wanted a big family. You don't have to be married to have a family but you may want to think about something's. I do agree with the other ladies. The best thing for you to do is temp and try to get timing right GL!

Personally, I think you should get married because you want to marry your partner, not because you want to have a wedding....Not that the OP even ever mentioned marriage at all....
Re: Has anyone else experience something similar?
I find the comment being rude and condescending.
But there's no reason to be rude or condescending to a valued member of this community.
