Mixed babies!!

snooping through other birth month boards and came across a thread discussing mixed race and interracial babies. Thought it was interesting to see the mix of culture we have here on the bump! I myself am primarily Mexican and Dutch while my husband is German, we have a beautiful dark haired and bright green eyed 5 year old daughter so we are excited to see what features this baby will take from each of us! Any others having mixed race babies?!

I'm not but I have quite a few friends that are mixed-race and they definitely are some of the most beautiful people that I've seen! Obviously not everybody, but the most beautiful people that I know are more than one race.

I'm Filipino and DH is Caucasian. Everyone says DD looks just like DH, but an Asian version. ) She has light brown hair and very fair skin like DH, but she got my tiny button nose and dark brown almond shaped eyes. Not that I'm biased or anything, but she's frkkn gorgeous.

@misamima we live on Guam so I know first hand how cute Filipino and mixed Filipino babies are :x so lovely!!

I am mixed. My dad is black from a Southern black family (I do not identify myself as African American because our culture is Southern since historical situations caused a loss of any African heritage and identity). My mom is from the midwest and Swedish and German (and her family came to America much more recently). My mom was more blond than Marsha Brady, my dad is black I think my brother and I look much more like each other than either of our parents. It is interesting that you can definitely tell which body parts we got from which parent. 

DH is Ukrainian and his mom's side is Jewish. I expect looser curls in our LO and possibly lighter eyes (mine are dark brown his are gray). My brother's kids have a scandinavian mom and their skin is about as dark as mine was as a baby/toddlers so our kids might be about as tan as I am (my brother is 1-3 makeup foundation shades darker than me).

I am! I'm pale white with blue eyes as I'm of British heritage from my mum and white America from my dad. My husband is half American Indian and half black, our baby is gonna be gorgeous. Can't wait to meet her!

Same here! I am told my DD is my hubby with my darker features!

We are sort of mixed. I'm Greek, born and raised, and have very dark features. Hubby is of Polish descent and has blue eyes and lighter skin. Our daughter has my skin complexion, dark hair but the most fascinating color of eyes - it's a mix of hazel and blue, the two eye colors we have. I'm excited to see what our next baby looks like.

My husband and I are both Dominicans, which it's not a race but a nationality, we are a mixture of primarily African, some Spanish and a tiny bit of indigenous natives heritage (Spanish colonials killed most natives and brought Africans as slaves). Depends on the region where you're from, my family is primarily from black ancestry but my husband has more white in his family. I have dark skin and curly hair, my husband has fair skin and black straight hair. His sister is blonde with fair skin, she has two daughters. One is blonde with blue eyes and the other has darker skin with chocolate brown hair and hazel eyes. My big brother has darker skin than mine and my younger brother has very light skin, my sister has caramel skin. I should mention we have the same mother and father and so does my husband and his sister. He and his sister have lighter skin than both his parents and I'm lighter than my dad but darker than my mom.

Since we are all of mixed race we have NO IDEA what this baby will look like, neither of us has dominant features. I hope he has my curly afro hair. I think babies are so cute with a little Afro.

I am 3/4 Navajo and 1/4 English. SO is 1/2 Navajo and 1/2 Caucasian (actually like an 1/8 of 4 different things, primarily Caucasian though). "Half breeds" are basically the most attractive people I've seen (IMO) e.g. 1/2 Navajo 1/2 Caucasian babies (like my SO and my SIL) always have light complected skin, dark brown hair, light brown eyes and freckles! I'm excited to see how LO inherits both our qualities!

I'm white and my DH is Mexican. I think the baby will look more Mexican but we are hoping baby gets my blue eyes!

Genetics are crazy!!! I really thought my daughter would look so much more like me (I'm only half Mexican, but I have the medium skin tone and natural jet black hair and very brown eyes) and when she was a newborn she did! Of course her eyes were blue(ish)/grey, but they were so dark I thought they would for sure turn brown and she had my very dark hair! Her father has the most beautiful bright green eyes and he is very fair skinned with light to medium brown hair, it didn't take long for those bright green eyes to shine through and she got the brown hair also, her skin tone is a mix of both of us. She is so stunning it makes me jealous! I secretly hope this baby will look more like me with some dark features, I joke to my husband that our kids won't even look related (this happened with my brothers kids, one is blonde haired, blue eyes with fair skin and the other black hair and brown eyed with medium skin!) few more months to wait and see! Mixed babies are always the cutest!!

I'm of Western European descent and husband is half Mexican. Hard to tell though since he has light hair and eyes with the tanner skin (MIL is blonde/blue) but you can tell when he's next to his father (dark Mexican). It will be interesting to see what we produce, hubs thinks it will be a light eyed tan baby.

I must agree that some of the most beautiful babies I know are mixed, it's quite striking to see how traits show!

I am a mixed baby!
My dad is African American and American Indian (more Indian then anything) and my mom is Irish so that brought me.

My daughters dad is also American Indian like very very Indian so she's a mixed baby too and she's perfect. She's tall like her dad with his dark curly hair and piercing dark dark eyes. She's my little model.

Yaay I love all the baby lookalike predictions. My DH is Guatemalan and I'm Caucasian. I think the baby will be blonde (DH was born lightheaded as was I) and we hope it picks up my blue/green eyes with "sun kissed" skin! Mixed babies always are beautiful babies.

DH is half Colombian and half British, while I am half Dutch and half German. DH has dark features with black thick hair and very brown almond shaped eyes. I'm blue eyed and blonde! We have a nephew who is blue eyes and blonde and a niece who looks very Latin American with dark green eyes and dark brown hair! Soooo we have no idea who our baby will take after!

I am british and my husband is what people would call African American but i hate that term.
My previous two kids with my ex where both born with very pale skin and red hair even though we both had brown hair. I am hoping this baby picks up more of the darker genes because super white skin in Texas just isnt practical!

My DH is Chinese - born in HK and came to the states at 3 years old. I am German (1st and 2nd generation on dads/moms side) with blonde hair and green eyes.

We are excited to meet our little one and see what he looks like! We had our first peek at 3D ultrasound and I swear he has my husband's lips and nose already. We will see!

I am pale Irish Caucasian with brown hair and eyes. DH is 1/2 Caucasian 1/2 African Brazilian with some native Brazilian with dark hair and brown eyes. DD has bluish/grey eyes with light brown hair and just looks like she has a tan all year round. We find it cool she has blue eyes since it came from both of our dads.
We think lo is going to have dark hair and eyes but we will see.

I'm pale Irish/German/Scottish/Welsh descent. Boyfriend is is Italian/Mediterranean/German/Russian descent as far as we know. We're mutts, basically. Lol. It will be interesting to see what features our baby has. We had a 3D ultrasound done last week and I think he already looks like his daddy. Lol. I have a friend who is half black, half Filipino and her children's father is German. They are some of the most beautiful kids I've seen. German features on natural tan skin and they are so insanely intelligent. I love mixed babies.

I'm Puerto Rican with dark straight hair, DH is Caucasian with lots of freckles and red hair... On my side of the family we have dark and light skin family members with either very very curly hair or straight black hair. Also have some cousins that have blonder hair with light colored eyes. My husband didn't really know his paternal family so we are excited to see what little baby will look like. I'm hoping it looks kind of like this

I'm not mixed buy I find genetics fascinating. My mom has black hair and eyes while both of her parents are blonde blue/light brown eyes. My father has medium brown hair and green eyes. My brother went darker than my mom with jet black hair and eyes and olive skin. I'm between my parents. I have dark brown hair and very dark brown eyes with very fair skin.

My husband has blonde hair and blue eyes. Our son is very blonde with big gorgeous blue eyes and looks nothing at all like me. I'm very curious to see how this baby looks.

I'm Indian and mexican, my husband is italian and caucasian. He has stab yest hazel eyes and reddish light brown hair in his beard but dark hair on his bald head. His mom has blonde hair blue eyes throughout her line with the exception of her mother who has green eyes. I have dark hair and dark brown eyes. Can't wait to see if baby will have gma blue eyes or my dh's rare starburst hazel sea green eyes, or his great grandma sea green eyes. What's the chances of this? ANYONE know? OH I have g in curly hair and DH has thick straight hair. Here Il attach pics. Im next to my padre on the far left,

I'm excited to see what our baby will look like too. I myself am Aruban, and mixed (half black, half white), and my boyfriend is Bulgarian. I think our little boy will be beautiful! Maybe he'll even have my Mom's green eyes, who knows. Half way to go until we get to meet him.

My DH is half Black / half Spanish. So our DS and LO have Israeli, Norwegian, black and Spanish.

I am Irish with very pale skin and very dark brown hair, and brown eyes with green flecks. My husband is Palestinian Arab with olive skin, big black/brown eyes and black curly/puffy hair. It will be interesting to see how the baby looks like more!

Yes! I have this little skinny baby, refuses to sit for anything that you can't just pull on and off, and Carter's pj's are the only ones we've found that fit him. He now has multiple pair of dinosaurs and astronauts.

I'm German, Puerto Rican, & Navajo (Native American)! My SO is 100% Mexican, so we'll have a little multiracial baby boy! :x
I think it's so cool because it's almost like a roulette, my son could potentially have his grandma's blue/green eyes, my olive skin or his father's darker skin, I have chinky eyes probably due to the Navajo in me, I can't wait to see what he'll look like! genetics itself is just awesome and extremely interesting to study ! It's too bad that unfortunately I will be the last of my Navajo bloodline (I'm 1/4 - so I have full blooded grandmother) to "officially" be considered Native American. I believe one day in the near future our world will be full ethnically/racially diverse people!

Yes! My husband is Latino and I am... Well, basically see through . I'm so excited to know that the baby will get his beautifully tan skin but sad it can't have my blonde hair

I have three beautiful bi biracial girls. Our oldest has brown hair with streaks of red coming through and honey brown eyes with specks of green and yellow. Her skin is light yet tans perfectly in the sun.
Our second daughter looks like me. Dark hair, medium tone skin, and dark brown/chocolate eyes.
Now, Lexi (our youngest) came out with afro curly brown hair and green eyes with very light skin. She's my husband's doppleganger. All though she's 16 mos, her eyes alternate between shades of green and the occasional honey brown from day to day.
No idea what this LO will look like. None of our girls resemble one another.

I am full blooded Mexican (with some Texan slang thanks to me moving here at 1 yr old) and husband is white with Irish descent hence his brown/red hair and green eyes.
