Wort AF ever after failed IUI

Hey guys,

Just hd my first IUI and it's a BFN, so now I'm on day 5 of AF's visit, and its ridiculous heavy, tons of clots, and I feel like someone stole all of my energy. Normally I have 1 heavy day, but this is just insane. I didn't take any fertility meds, or shots before IUI, the oly thing I did different was eat the pineapple with core for 4 days after IUI, they say that can thicken your lining I suppose. Has anyone had this happen? should I worry?

This hasn't happened to me. If it hasn't subsided I would definitely call the dr and ask them if everything is ok. Good luck!

Hi I never did IUI however my period after my first failed IVF cycle was horrible. It was very heavy and painful with lots of bloodclots I thought it was due to the lining buildup. But definitely check in with your doctor

Hi,
I had an IUI early June and my period just had a lot of clots and minimal pain.
I'd see a dr if the pain continues.

For me after all assisted reproductive cycles my periods are so heavy and clotty and gross. I think it's the extra hormones, drugs etc.

It did subside, but geez, i was starting to get worried.... I am going for my 2nd IUI around the 26th. Wish me luck and baby dust

My cousin had the same issue after her IUI as well. I haven't had an IUI but will soon so I am glad I know to expect that!
