Type 1 diabetics and baby size

Are all you T1D moms expecting bigger babies? My son has been measuring 4 weeks ahead of time. Which I know is expected with diabetics, but wanted to hear others experiences.

Does diabetes necessarily mean c section? Any diabetics deliver naturally? Or plan on it? I am NOT referring to gestational diabetes or type 2. Type 1 diabetics only. Thanks :)

Hey there! T1D diagnosed at 3 years old here, this is my first pregnancy and lucky me I'm having twin girls! My high risk doc had me go for a second level 2 ultrasound at 6 months and according to his graph he said they were just the right size, not too big or too small a bit over a pound each. My a1c was 6.1 at my endo last week.
I know a couple other type 1s that had their singletons naturally but because of the twins, if they aren't ready for eviction by 38 weeks they're going to induce me/c section depending on how their positioned. As much as I would prefer a vaginal delivery I just want them in one piece! Good luck to you!
