Ultrasound today!

we had our first ultrasound today and it was slightly traumatic.
I track my BBT so I was almost positive that I was 7w1d today. The doctor did an abdominal ultrasound and only saw a sac measuring 6 weeks. I panicked. I then requested he do a transvaginal and there is was! Baby with a heartbeat of 125bpm. Measuring about 6w6d. Hoping to meet Baby S on March 3rd!!
Still a little nervous, but very excited and blessed to be able to experience that today. Happy and healthy pregnancy to you all!

So glad everything worked out! I posted my panicked experience a few days ago but I had my first u/s too. My OB checks and starts asking me am i sure my dates are right. I said im positive! I had a miscarriage before where the sac was empty so I thought not this again! So he sends me downstairs to radiogy where he said they have more high tech equipment and could get a clearer pic. Of course the tech tells me she can't discuss any results with me and my OB will call me in 2 hours. Well that 2 hours turned in to more like 6 hours. He finally called and told me all was well and they saw a heartbeat. So thankful things turned out well for the both of us!
