Ugh why?

So this is a rant, my bf mother is a great lady however his family lives about 2 hours away from us.. I'm 38w 5d his sister who is 3 years older with him with two kids. Is coming to stay this weekend and give us things for the baby(cause she missed the shower and has told us for the past three weeks she coming down) ...So she will be down here until Tuesday -_- then his mother is coming Wednesday to stay until that Monday 7/27 which would be the day they would induce me... This past weekend we told her we wanted it to just be us in the room.. And if I wanted MY mom in there.. I mean I don't know her like that well enough to be like yes please come back.. It feels selfish.. But how would you deal... And not only that like, WE my boyfriend and I had a conversation Monday that we weren't even gonna tell his family or mine until after the baby was here and we were settled into the hospital.. Now like everything is going south of my plan.. Anyone else have this situation??? Sorry it's so long!!

I had a VERY similar situation. My mother, sister, mother in law, father in law and dad were all planning to come down in time for my baby to be born. They were all staying with us! Mind you we only have one spare room.

I stressed about this for about a week before baby was born because I didn't want the moms in the delivery room. They are quite overbearing.

The nurses and my OB made it clear that if I didn't want anyone in the room, they would handle it and run interference.

Luckily, I went in to labor two days early and only my dad was in town. He stayed in the room with me and my husband for a while but left during the final stages of labor.

Everyone still stayed with us after baby was born and it was tough. But now that everyone has had their baby time, it's time for me and my husband to relax with our little one. I'm glad I got the main visitors overwith all at once.

Now it's time for our little family to settle and be together

Yeah I feel like it's very over whelming.. And I feel like she's gonna want to take control of the situation.. Like if my water breaks and if in having contractions.. I feel like I'm being a b**** but my boyfriend and I are on the same page. So I hope she just stays her ground.. And gives me space. I just don't wanna go all hormone cazy on her
