Birth certificate annoyence

In order for me to put my fiance's information on the birth certificate he has to goffer through a paternity notary. I don't know about other places but they barely legally regonize them. I personally don't like the idea of everything being revolved around me. Don't get me wrong the staff/hospital is amazing to the both of us but all the legal paperwork just to put him on her birth certificate is ridiculous.

Yeah this is required for anyone if you're not married. My sons' father has had to do this for both of our boys.
