Re: Talking

  • No, but she thinks she is :)
Sometimes it sounds like she's saying "mom" but it's just wishful thinking

  • My parents are convinced their granddaughter is talking, but I think she's really just practicing her noises.

Lol..there is time when my LO is crying and it sounds like she says mommy. But my husband says im crazy. I think its gonna be a competition to see if she says mama or dada first.
  • Sometimes I swear hee says yeah or no but I know it's just me hoping. He "tells stories" all the time.

I've heard momma dada and hey, but everybody else has heard it too!

My husband swears when LO is crying, he's saying "mama". It sounds like it! He does copy the inflection in our voices sometimes. He sure thinks he's saying something to us, it's so cute and funny.

  • Mine makes a mmm, ma sound when she's hungry so I'm hopeful mama is the first word (da was a more common sounds from my first and sure enough his first word was dada) :)
  • I'm glad I'm not the only one hearing mama! Lol
Are your babies laughing yet? When she does, she can giggle. But wen she gets really excited or I'm tickling her it comes out like a scream
  • Yes, I love those baby giggles! My daughter is obsessed with our dog. Every time she sees him she smiles and laughs. And she tries to mimic his complaining noises, like when he wants to go outside.
  • My little man thinks he's talking. He'll tell you a story hands moving like he's trying to get you to understand. He pauses every so often and looks at you with a face that says are you listening? It's adorable. When his daddy leaves for work in the mornings he sounds likes crying dada and when he gets that out of the way he just yells ma until I pick him up. I know he probably has no idea what he's saying yet but it sounds so close to those words I'm convinced he's saying it lol
