Right now our dd sleeps in the bed with us. She has been since a few weeks old due to living arrangements at that time. I say us but my husband is usually working at night so it is my daughter and I. We are introducing the idea of sleeping in her own bed but I'm not sure if she will be sleeping in her own room by the time baby gets here. How have you co-sleeping parents dealt with a toddler and newborn co-sleeping? Does the nb wake up the toddler from crying? Did you use a co sleeper or a crib next to bed? Thanks!

Re: Co-sleeping
If you google cosleeping there are some great websites that list safe ways to cosleep.
These are the first 2 sites that come up.
https://cosleeping.nd.edu/safe-co-sleeping-guidelines/

FWIW I did somewhat cosleep with my last 2, usually if we fell asleep nursing in the MOTN. Otherwise baby went into a rock n play next to the bed.
ETA: I love cosleeping and did as we needed. Other times/nights it was nice to sprawl out.
