My work is a TW. I have been planning to go visit family out of state for months. Yesterday I put my PTO paperwork in and they asked me if I can work extra so my hours are fully covered. I said no. Everyone knew about this since May. Tough!

I feel your pain. I've always been sensitive to smoke, especially in the car. This morning on my way to work I was behind two smokers. I was gagging the whole time.

My cube is right in the path of the smoker's door and whenever it opens or closes the pressure pushes it right to my desk. I want to punch them several times a day. Edit: my original post, posted blank...thanks TheBump.

Right there with ya! I didn't mind as much before but nowadays I feel like my house just smells like one giant ashtray cause of our neighbors. Plus since we live in a duplex, our garage shares a wall with their backyard and the vents make the smoke fill our entire garage with that smell. I can't even go in there without holding my breath these days.

I can smell that too, people always think I'm crazy when I roll up the windows and turn off any air flow coming into the car if I smell it and we're at a light or something!
Glad I'm not the only one who can smell that nasty stuff from far away!

We used to live in a townhouse style condo and our neighbor used to smoke weed on his back patio. That patio was right next to our guest bedroom. Every time I went in there to clean all I could smell was marijuana. I was so glad we sold it!

My husband thinks I'm crazy when I start complaining about smoke smell in the car! It's the worst when it comes through your vents, ugh!

The lady who did my hair yesterday is a TW. I thought it'd be nice to treat myself for my birthday, but it backfired. She did what SHE wanted to do, not what I asked her to do. Sigh. Good thing I'm in cosmetology school and it can easily be fixed. But, still. I paid for her services.

My cat for waking me up early for food. Each day he gets hungry 1 hour earlier, so today was even earlier and I couldn't ignore his crazy crying.

I think they need to be called out. They need to realize what is fact and what is not. Also we don't need those kinds of threads posted every single day because they are attention seeking or so it seems to me.

My cat is also a TW. She wants food but when I give her a piece of turkey, she won't eat it....normally she inhales it but she won't eat it and continues to be a creeper and watches me eat.

That's horrible! My neighbor did the same but a few months ago she stopped thankfully. I can't believe people still smoke. Especially with all those anti smoking commercials they play on TV. They are harsh! We went to Istanbul a few years back and they put pics of people dying from cigarette use on the packs of cigarettes. I think they should do that here too!

Also, old vehicles that clearly couldn't pass emissions. I have to pull over if I'm stuck behind one. Barf.

BCBS FL is a TW. I called to make sure my NT and genetic blood work would be covered. Long story short, it is and it isn't. Wtf kind of answer is that? I have to call the doctor now to see if they plan on submitting paperwork to see if my ins will cover it and if not how much it will cost.

I'm already an irritable pregnant woman, just give me a straight answer.

@bredoll My obgyn gave me a list of genetic testing - Panorama, Maternity21, and Harmony. She said to call the testing place instead of insurance to see if they take your insurance. I spoke to Harmony and they are not contracted with my insurance, but they will still bill my insurance and my out of pocket would only be $130. I called Maternity21 and it's over $900 since I'm under 35 and not high risk. I haven't called Panorama yet.

I nominate The Bump. Some weird glitch wouldn't let me post for 24 hours. I could read everything though. It was like one of those dreams where you scream but no did comes out. Glad to be back.

They do all the testing at my office, so I'm not sure what options I have, I'm just annoyed that no one can give me a straight answer to a pretty simple question. I'm e-mailing my OB coordinator now to see if she can help me.

First TW is my boss/job! She is just annoying and unbearable. I'm debating looking for a new job, but know what a feat finding a job while pregnant would be. The second, is this stupid crazy hot Louisiana weather... 100degree plus humidity , not cool!

Can my TW Tuesay go to my pants? Ugh. The zipper won't stay up while I'm at work. Everytime I get up or move it goes down. It's not broken, my pants just don't like me today. I'm about to cry. I'm so annoyed.

My sinuses. Bastards. I finally gave in and tried the neti pot, I was so desperate. (It makes me feel like I'm drowning.  I hate it...) Nothing came out the other side.  I assume that means they are completely full?  Gah. I'm miserable.  And I'm going to cough up a lung.

Heartburn and indigestion is the biggest TW today.  I had a piece of chocolate tart at lunch, which I kept tasting each time I burped, (which was every five seconds or so).  I took some Tums, and now that's what I taste instead every 5 seconds or so.  I'd like to go back to burping up the chocolate tart, please.

TW also goes to my cervix. I just was told I have cervical cancer. It won't cause problems for my pregnancy and they won't do any testing until 6-8 weeks postpartum. Blah! Crap happens...

My pasta garlic aioli salad I got from Haggens. I feel like I could puke up cream and whole garlic cloves. Feeling so sick. M/s always sets in around 5.... Dear god! Oh yes and my neighbors upstairs jumping up and down.

What?! From your pap? I'm so sorry, so now you wait?!

Yep! I wait. I previously had cervical cancer in 2008 and it was caught early so it was easily treated and I have had normal paps since. It happens. I am done having kiddos after this baby so whatever treatment is fine but just gotta wait. They won't do more testing since it cause cervix issues.

The downside to having someone live above you. I feel your pain! Our upstairs neighbors are super loud too! Feel better!
