Hi! Lurker/Newbie 41/Cycle2/1 17DPIUI after mc in Dec I met with Genetics on my first visit to MFM probably about 11 weeks or so because it was right after I had labs sent off to have infosec testing/screening. They were VERY nice. Basically asked about my family history, DH family history (should get paperwork ahead of time to fill out) mainly cancer, neuro defects, MS, and more rare things that are "carrier" based. I had been on pins and needles to get the infosec results but my OB was less then helpful, just kept telling me to be patient. The genetics councilor got the Infosec people right on the phone and had my results faxed and in hand within 5 min! Do you know if anything on either side that might be a red flag? (Sorry if you dont want to share, I understand) I would make a list of questions before your apointment, but they pretty much cover all the bases and were very comforting. Good Luck to you!
Im so sorry... my testing came back good, but m/c the day after my 1st visit to MFM. This time TTC Iv started at MFM and they plan to monitor more closely and start/continue progesteronr if I ever get a bfp. Big hus to you
