After years of sharing a full size bed with my DH we are finally picking up a king size bed today! I'm a little too excited lol.

Excruciating back pain even 10 or so minutes. I'm going with or without DH (he's still asleep) to triage to be checked.
He tells me last night his 17 y/o DD asked to be in the room when I deliver. I'm so uncomfortable with this. First off, she's a child. Second, she could've asked me. Third, I'm praying there's some policy that says birth support persons have to be 18 amd over so I can avoid looking like the uncompromising b!tch here.
Mad and sad I'm missing church for the second Sunday in a row. But this pain will distract me, and I won't be cordial when members ask how much longer or comment that I'm still OBVUOUSLY pregnant.
Lord, Help! I'm on one today, ladies...

My poor hubby better watch out today. I got terrible sleep. Not because of the baby, or pain, or getting up to pee, but because he was a damn bed hog last night! I woke up with his arm across my face more times than I can count. He also rolled over on my belly a few times, and smashed my poor tender boobs a few times as well. By the time I gave up and got out of bed because the poor dog had to go out, i was on a tiny sliver of bed and he was fully stretched in the middle. He asked me what was wrong. I had to really hold back to not flip out on him, poor guy. He has no idea how awful he was, and certainly didn't do it on purpose. But damn, I feel like I got beat up!

So then I had ice cream for breakfast. I only feel a little bit better.

I'm getting induced tonight at 5!!!! I'm so excited, but super nervous! Just doing some last minute things around the house like laundry and dishes so we come home to a clean house... Can't believe last night was DH and my last night as just the two of us, crazy to think how much our world will change in just one day- for the better of course!

@vineheart137 we did the same back in January. Best decision ever!!!!! Seriously the best feeling. Even though it's a king, prepare yourself. To have DH still all up in your space. I was snuggled into my snoogle pregnancy pillow most of the time so I couldn't really move, so DH took it upon himself to make sure the whole bed was being utilized. Haha

Having a pre-baby family dinner today! My sis in law and I are due a week apart, my first her second. Figure well have a nice family get together to show off our nursery and all the yard work we've done before babies get here. It's been nice to initiate some nesting in preparation, didn't really have that urge without it haha. 38+2, will probably let my doc induce me in two weeks if she hasn't made her arrival by then. Can't wait!

When nursing a newborn I find I can't get much accomplished, but I have all kinds of time to kill! One handed activities are best and one of my favorites is scrolling through the new birth announcements! Loving the pics of all the beautiful new babies!

Well today is my due date, and my cervix is still non corporating. It's depressing all I want to do is hold this little girl in my arms. I see the doctor tomorrow, really hoping to get an induction date for a day this week!! :-(

Is miralax a safe stool softener during pregnancy? I threw my "safe" list away because I didn't think I'd be using it since I "have" 5 days til due date. Boy was I wrong lol

I'm so exhausted. I was up a lot last night and i too had a selfish husband last night. He kept getting into my side of the bed. Then he flipped on all the lights several times when he woke up and again this mornin at 6 when he needed to get ready for work. I have our toddler by myself again today and he said he has to mow after work. So no help today. Unless my parents come over. It was my moms 55th bday yesterday and I didn't get her anything I was going to try to get out today but there is a heat advisory for my city today of a heat index of 100-110 degrees. I really don't want to go out in that weather!! I die of heat just turning in the oven in my house to make food. Bring on the ice water, ceiling fans and tank tops that don't fully cover my huge belly!!

Yesterday I had contractions irregularly for 12 hours, got an 11 hour break and now they're back. My stubborn baby is just messing with me now 40+4 with induction scheduled for Wednesday. Maybe walking at the grocery store will kick this into active labor? I'm so tired of pain that gets me nowhere.

I didn't sleep at all last night between leg spasms, strong BH contractions, mind racing, and my DH in my space. We missed church this morning because I didn't feel good, but DH had been so good and took our DD on a father/daughter day so I could have some peace and quiet. Now I don't know what to do with myself.
@vineheart137 I envy you. But I don't doubt that I would still be stuck on the edge of the bed with DH sprawled out or wrapped snuggly around my hot uncomfortable self no matter how big our bed is.

We went to church this morning, followed by a spur of the moment cracker barrel brunch. I've been super emotional all week (due to having our wedding anniversary and a pregnancy loss anniversary in the same week) and I am barely holding it together today. Also, at 37 +3 I am 100% over being pregnant. Props to you mommas a week or 2 past your due date!! Now where's the eject button??

we've had a cal-king for years and guess what... My DH wants another so we can each have our own. LOL! It's hilarious because there's plenty of room (I'm 5'4, 130 lb pre-preg and he's 5'9, 180 lb). He just likes to be spread out when he's asleep and doesn't want to be all up in my space.

Finally woke up feeling pretty good today!! Made pancakes eggs bacon and biscuits and gravy. I wanted it all!! Working around the yard today, DH and I have 5 acres to mow, weeds to spray and a bottle of bug spray to use. hoping this hard labor puts me in labor!! Parents will be here Tuesday and getting induced on wednesday.

I was totally sound asleep. My DH woke me up because he wanted to kiss me and the belly. How could I be mad at that?! Here's to hoping I fall back asleep after catching up with my bumpies!!!

I've had this polyp in my nose for the past month, that my doc says grows Much larger than the average person's "little nose bumps" because of the HCG in my system...Lovely!...it looks like one of those warts on a witch, but on the inside of my nose & gushes blood at a moments notice, like when I was trying to teach dance classes last night...even more Lovely!

Can baby just come out now so I can get rid of this "thing" in my nose?! Oh & I would like to sleep on my stomach again...that would be cool too

@shanasheppard I had something similar, if not the same thing after my first pregnancy. It was super frustrating to blow your nose and bleed like you were having an aneurism. Doc told me if I couldn't get it to stop bleeding ever, to start spraying Afrin in there until it stops. Otherwise you have to go in and get it cauterized or packed with medical cocaine. Part of me wondered if that would be all bad.... I mean.... Getting to try cocaine for free and legally? Just joking.... Mostly.

My husband keeps saying "this is not what I thought pregnancy would be. Having a bleeding nose & everything"...really?! lol

I'm SO ready for him to be here. I'm so swollen all the time no matter how much water and keeping my feet up. Also have a nerve pinched somewhere because my whole right side is falling asleep all the time. Sleeping is even worse now, eating while face and arm are asleep is getting hard but I gave 3 days of work left next week and cutting hair while arm/hand is asleep is very hard but I cannot stop work yet, I don't get any pay of any sort while I'm off and want it all off when he gets here. Doc says nothing I can do except wait for baby to come out, I just don't want permanent damage to whatever is pinched since its been happening for 3 weeks and section isn't until 23.

Well had a nice little visit with my FIL today and went for brunch...mmmm...strawberry crepes....:) and I am in total agreement with you ladies about the king size bed! It is a wondrous creation! We got ours about 6 months ago and we can both sprawl out and have the dog on the bed with left over room! It's wonderful! Lol. Anywho, just realized something super exciting! I just finished work and we weren't allowed to wear nail polish, so I literally could not do my nails once in the last year! Well I'm done finally and am booking this girl in for a mani/pedi!! Woohoo!!! So excited!! Especially since this place has massage chairs and massage your feet and hands!!! Excited! At least my nails will look nice for L+D! Lol

I'm so sick of family. They think that just because they visit they can sit and hold our baby the entire time. NO! Where were you for the 9 f'ing months he was inside me. You do not get to come over and put your arms out instantly. This is our baby and I will be damned if I'm going to miss him in my own home. I will be the baby hog not you guys! Ok rant over. I just love my baby so much and I get pisses when everybody thinks they deserve to hold him and pass him around.

Needing some advice real quick. I'm not sure if it's anything to be concerned about.... but for the past 15--30 minutes I've been feeling a slow trickle of fluid leak out. It's colorless and odorless. I haven't really felt any contractions and it doesn't seem like enough to be soaking my underwear. I'm 38+4 so I'm not sure if this is a sign that labor is coming soon or if it's beginning and I need to get checked out. The top of my uterus feels tightwhen this happens but it's not painful. Any advice would be helpful. I just feel like if I was in labor I'd be in pain. It's more of a discomfort and pressure

@RcknRbyn13 , when my water broke I didn't have any pain either--- till after 2 hrs of Pitocin. It may be worth the call to your doctor. You could wait a little longer and see if you soak a pad. Today could be a birthday!! Good luck!

well I did some yard work and it didn't put me into labor..but it did put me to bed in a lot of pain!! Note to self: 39 weeks is too pregnant to be working in 100° heat mowing the lawn and constantly bending down to pick things up.
