2nd Trimester

25 weeks & worried at times.

So I'll be 25 weeks this sunday & i usually feel my son move at night. Well at times I do & at times I don't. I've lost a baby before so I'm wandering if I'm scaring myself wandering if he's okay & if it's normal to not feel him all the time. I wanna go to the hospital but at the same time I'm too scared to go.

  • This happened to me a couple of weeks ago.. but then a few days later he started kicking again. I read they sleep 12-14 hours at a time in there. Try eating something sweet like chocolate, this should give them a energy boost and hopefully you will feel him again.

  • Any. Any hesitatation go to the doctors. :). It is prbly fine just mine as well. I contact my dr with any concern
  • I feel the same way! If I don't feel him move, I will get nervous. You are probably fine... If you have no camping, no bleeding, no contractions, the baby is probably fine. Wait it out and you should feel him move.
  • I have a home doppler from my first pregnancy and have pulled it out a few times this pregnancy because i will go more than a day without feeling DD move. I have also found if I put pressure on my lower abdomen, she'll start moving just enough to calm me down. I have an anterior placenta, so her movements are already muffled, but i do panic when i don't feel her at all.
  • My OB told me not to stress about feeling consistent movement until 27-30 weeks, since baby still has a lot of room to move around and may just be sitting somewhere where you can't really feel them.

  • If you are concerned, call your OB and ask what he/she recommends. I wouldn't go to the hospital ER unless there was concern that an actual emergency was happening (bleeding, etc.).
