just out of curiosity- my wife and I have been wondering and sort of struggling on what the baby would call each us. Wondering if anyone else had pointer or suggestions or feeling the same way?
My wife would be considered a "stud". Dresses like boy, boy hair cut, masculine not feminine in any way. I mean would it be weird if the baby called her daddy? Or would it cause problems for the future.
Oh my gosh Moppa is adorable! I've never heard that before. We will probably be mama and mommy but that seems so confusing. I wouldn't be opposed to some weird variation.
My wife wants to be Mom (momma, mommy, etc.) so I am thinking about being Ema. If I didn't already refer to my grandmother as Mia, I think that would be a great option too.
Hi everyone, new to this site. My wife and I recently got married and are researching into parenthood. I'm extremely broody already and can't wait till the time comes this was a big concern to me also I couldn't find thread so started one yesterday, I would probably be mumma (English sorry) but what would my wife be? I wouldn't want just her name as it sounds very detached but would mumma and mum be too much for a child to learn? I would like it to be something easy to teach
Hi. I have a 3yr old (and one on the way) and she calls myself mum and my wife mummy. She isn't confused by this and knows exactly who we are when people are talking to her about us. Thought it would feel nice if we can both have a "mum" name.
Re: What will the baby call you?
RE DX for me: Anovulatory cycles/Mild PCOS RE DX for DW: Endometrioma on left Ovary.
Reciprocal Ivf Feb 2016. DW eggs and I am carrying. EDD: 10/27/16
Unless she is defining herself as male I think calling her daddy would be confusing.
