"Speck" - my 3-year old and I came up with that one after showing him a poppy seed last week (he LOVES Horton). "Oko" - again, the 3-year old (I have no idea). "Burrito" - My husband thought I was bringing him a breakfast burrito. Instead I told him I was pregnant.

@skruhmin - I LOVE the nickname Speck! Burrito is pretty funny too!
We don't have an official nickname yet. I have been calling it "bambino". DH hasn't started with anything yet for nicknames, but I know he will have at least one as soon as the "shock"wears off.

It's so much easier to hide from people - they don't question if I say "I've got a burrito in my belly"

HAHA! I literally just LOL'd in my office! That's AWESOME.
My DH just said "well, so you've got a little booger in there?" We call our neice and nephew and godchildren boogers all the time so it came naturally to him I guess. Although talking about having a booger in my belly doesn't sound very good to those that don't know what we are talking about..
We are referring to baby as poppy/appleseed (changing our name with size each week). In the past few days DH has begun using "you two" and his face looks so joyful and adorable!
My DH doesn't like calling it "names" but I like nugget and peanut! I also just call it baby and also go back and forth calling it the boy and girl name that we have picked out. DH only calls it the girl name as he is positive it's a little girl!
Pari for Parasite.... we are science nerds and this baby wants glutinous baked treats but doesn't have to be on the outside when the hate comes out... resistance is hard man
A rugby playing scientist and educator who is looking to solve metabolic and age related diseases through research
Timtam, a combination of the names we'll choose depending on whether it's a boy or a girl. It's also a candy bar!
My sister-in-law was calling her baby Bean and it really STUCK, so even now that he's born and has a nice name everyone is still calling him Bean. I don't want that to happen with mine, so I want the nickname for the unborn baby to match the nickname for the born baby.
We're changing the name week by week based on size and assigning a gender, so as not to call the baby "it". Last week was Poppy (poppyseed), this week it's Johnny (as in appleseed).
We are calling baby "Baby H" because our last name. We are team green and already have a gender neutral name picked out but want to want until closer to birth to actually start calling Baby H by his/her name!!
Mostly NewBaby, bc that is what the kids always say "mama has a NewBaby in her belly" - same as last time too, although once #3 had started kicking around real well we all called it Stormageddon. And he's still my kicker and he still goes by Stormy on occasion. I also use TinyTimelord and TinyCompanion.
