Looks like we have a reputation as the negative nancy board...

So, I didn't want to make a big stink on here about it, but at my last checkup my doctor said that he is almost positive this baby is coming the end of July and not Aug 11th. I am a high risk mama and have been at peace with the possibility of not making it full term since 23 weeks when I was told about my cervix length. Anywho....in case I delivering in July, I made a little introduction post on the July board. I got a kick out of what a couple of these women had to say about us. I love it.

Edit: After just seeing the response I got after sticking up for us, I already feel a little weird/out of place over there. Maybe it's best I just stay with you girls lol.

    That's the girl who told us we are awful this morning. So I expect that. You know what my feelings are just getting crushed today!...NOT ;;)

    Do people not realize that "support" isn't about kissing ass???? Honestly. Girls will get the honest truth in responses so that they can make the best decision or action she can. Now that honest truth or advice isn't always positive, what they were hoping to hear, or covered in glitter... it's going to be to the point. Why jibberjaw, tell you what you want to hear, or discuss the same thing 5 billion times?? Who does that help or support? NO ONE.

    Ugh cry me a river lol.

    Ummmm I think you should read the comments again because the girls you claim to be "bashing A15" were actually girls from the august group... No one in July bashed august mommies... You came to July and made a post and we welcomed you, that's all ... Out of nowhere some august moms who I suppose left this group started talking . @Marissalynn0620 you got a kick out of what we said? Or what your former members had to say?

    Everyone who welcomed me was extremely nice and welcoming. I was talking about the ladies who were previously left the aug. board. because I was shocked at what they said.

    also, I meant what is said that I have heard nothing but nice things about the July board! Because I have. And I am sure you all are wonderful ladies, I could tell by the welcoming I got. I just couldn't stand to see negative things about these ladies. These girls have been though everything with me so I couldn't stand to hear that we apparently have this reputation.

    I am due July 31 and I have spent time both lurking and commenting on both the July and August board equally. I honestly haven't seen that much of a difference in the two. I do lurk more than I post so I haven't had any negative experiences with either. I'm also not easily offended and don't generally go for unicorns and rainbows so perhaps that is why.

    That being said, I'm not sure what is intended by this post. It honestly to me just seems like you are trying to create drama. There is enough drama on these boards without that.

    I think regardless of whether or not you will actually deliver in August or July you should stay with where you feel the most comfortable. There isn't a rule that says now that you are probably going in July you are banned from A15. You could also take the approach I have and bounce back and forth. But I don't see what anyone accomplishes by badmouthing one board to another.

    Either way, I wish you all the best with your delivery, whether it be August or July. I

    Yea, you did. We know exactly who used to be apart of A15 and why their still butthurt. No offense to J15-but trash talking trash about one board because you (not you) couldn't handle the tone is pretty damn cowardly to me.

    Lol very interesting read, I don't get my panties in a bunch over the small stuff(my panties barely fit as is lol) we're all pregnant and hormonal but I can't believe we're the bad girls of 2015. Lol. I kinda like it :D

    From July15 I hate the rainbow and glitter vibe there which is why I lurk everywhere. And hey I'm not due until the 26th so I could possibly have an august baby anyway.

    Sooo, my due date is 8/9 but will be induced the last week of July. I don't feel like moving to another board so I'll just be sticking around where I've been from the beginning! I think we do just fine.

    Aww I like the July board, too -- I've been going between the two since the beginning since I knew from the getgo I'll be lucky to make it to 36 weeks (two weeks away?!). The two boards do have a little bit of a different personality but not to the extreme of one being super brutal and one being all rainbows and butterflies. I guess if you are seeking validation to have an early baby just because the ultrasound says he's big, because you want to throw your own shower, because you think formula companies are the devil, or if you expect everyone to diagnose if/when labor is occurring, then yeah, August might not be the board for you.

    haha! Well said. And yes! They were very sweet with welcoming me. It was only the two comments made that bothered me because I felt the comments made were a little exaggerated.
