heartbeat in lower back??

Tomorrow I'll be 40 weeks..
Anyone else noticing what feels like a heartbeat or throbbing feeling in their lower back off n on?? It's a new feeling and so odd to me, it happens mostly when I'm sitting. I'm thinking it could be back contractions..

I have something similar but the heartbeat is more up front in my lower pelvic region. At first I thought it was my baby but it is so well timed it seems more like a pulse. Or my baby has great rhythm.

It does but like you said it is when I am sitting down. When you move around does it go away?

No. I can dicipher hiccups and throbbing.
Her hiccups are in my vagina right now and make my whole tummy shake cause she's so big. It isn't hiccup, way past recognizing hiccups. This is my 3rd peanut..lol

No... hiccups at this point in pregnancy because baby is so big can definitely be recognized. I could understand at maybe 20 weeks or something, but not 40.

Hmm well like I asked before when you move does the heartbeat go away? It does for me sometimes so if it isn't hiccups I thought it could be pressure from sitting down causing a pulse in my abdomen. Or in your case the lower back.

Yea it does go away after I stand..
