True story: a spider crawled up my shorts.

I was sitting on the floor changing my son when I felt something pinch in my crotch. Thought it was just a weird underwear thing, so I shifted then it hurt. Went to the bathroom, pulled down my pants and the right side of my labia was the size of a golf ball. Small freak out, then dh drove me to the er.

I vaguely explain my situation to the 20 year old check in guy. He asks "where did it bite you?" Me (wearing a skirt, no undies and gripping an ice pack between my legs): uhhhhh in the crotch? Guy "ohhhhh...... That probably hurts." You think?

I get checked in, I get a room, show the doctor the situation, she brings in back up who says I have "an impressive amount of swelling!" and also comments "I've never seen anything like this before"
Definetley two things you don't want to hear while you're half naked with your legs spread open. Two hours later, a couple of ice packs, some Benadryl, a diagnosis of "severe allergic reaction to bug bite" and I'm back home.

It was just a weird night. I'm sitting in the er laughing because of all places, I have to get bit on my labia. Really, bug, really?!? And it's not like you can go to work and be like, "guess where I got bit? Hahaha"

Alls well that ends well, thought someone might get a chuckle out of this... I know I did.

I laughed but I am glad you're okay! I swell so much from even mosquito bites...I can't imagine a spider bite down there! @-)

This happened to my coworker a few weeks ago with a spider bite on her upper, outer thigh. It was a ridiculous bruise and swelling. Ouch! Hope you feel better soon!

You can totally go to work and be like, "Guess where I got bit?" ...that is, unless you're a teacher or work with children. I'm pretty sure that would make this story much less funny and a little more seriously inappropriate

Thanks, guys! I'm still chuckling a little and thankfully the swelling has gone done quite a bit.
Last night going to bed, dh asked if I needed an extra bed for my vagina. I have a feeling the jokes are going to last awhile for this one!

Hahaha, im sorry this happened to you, but, it sure makes for an entertaining story! Of all the places to bite.. ) Glad your swelling is going down, hope its not causing too much discomfort anymore.
