Re: Expanded recall on Jardine Cribs...

  • Thanks!

Luckily mine aren't in this one, they were in the last recall and it was a PITA.

How did the process go?  I'm curious to see what I'm in store for....

  • I called Jardine, had to give them the model # and date of manufacture (on label on inside bottom of crib).

They sent me an envelope and instructions, they wanted me to send back the screws/bolts.

In the meantime I went to BRU and bought a new crib, Jardine again unfortunetly b/c it was the only one in the price range.  And mine were cherry finish, which matched the other furniture we have.  There were none that were cherry so I had to get a dark brown.

Jardine sent me a voucher (good only at BRU) and I had to take the voucher and receipt for new crib back to BRU to get the refund.

    PITA

  • Crap, I thought I was safe after the first recall...I have noticed that one of the slats in DD's crib is starting to wiggle loose.

  • I was just coming on to post the same thing! Thanks to PP for info- we have the white capri. Ugh. Oh, well. I guess I'll have to make a trip to BRU early to start looking at cribs for #2.
