White noise

Anyone using white noise apps or machines to sooth their LO? We've recently found that ours seems to fall into a deep sleep faster if we put on the vacuum sound. This is if course one of the most annoying sounds for me.. but if it works for her I'll take it! Just curious what works for everyone else.

We have 5 songs on my phone. It sometimes helps when he cries too

White noise works for my LO.  Also I have a playlist on Spotify that we will use and I normally sing along with it.  I have found that music that is familiar helps him fall asleep faster. 

I will also stick him in his Moby wrap.  Usually within 20 minutes he's out.

We use a white noise that DH downloaded on his iPod. It's an ocean waves sound. It drives me insane but DS and DH love it!

I've also turned the radio to static while driving in the car when DS is screaming. That is hit or miss as to whether or not it calms him.

The homedics sound machine has been a lifesaver for both of my boys. White noise is a must here!

We use white noise. She needed it for first 4-6 weeks. Now I can't sleep without it. Ugh

Ours all but sleeps in the HVAC closet. We also keep our bathroom fan on for him all night and stream various white noise YouTube videos...

Works like a charm!  Plus, I don't ever want DS to get acclimated to only sleeping in quiet either.  So I talk around him a lot when he's sleeping.  But in his room, we have a fan plus a noise machine, and then I have a white noise app on my phone that has come in handy quite a few times!

My stupid pump seems to lull him (and me!) to sleep too.

We have a sound spa with the ocean and sometimes the heart beat one works well too (my husband thinks it's creepy). Usually piano music works though since I played piano all of my pregnancy. Lol. My boy sleeps through the vacuum and the pump also relaxes him too!
