hey everyone...FTM here, and wanting to take some childbirth education classes...has anyone taken any with their wives/partners in the past? I looked up the Bradley method bc a friend swore by it with her pregnancy, but it's based on mothers and "husbands". Even on the website, it doesn't ever refer to partner, just strictly husband. I'm not sure if that will work for us, as I want my wife to feel just as involved and a part of this as me. I need some advice...it's becoming a bit discouraging seeing how sexist some of these classes are. Can you imagine how single moms feel???!! Geez...I would've thought that in this day and age it would be more conducive to modern families. I live in south Texas...any advice or direction would greatly help! Thanks!!
We are still TTC, but I would like to hear as well. I would also like to know the best way to find support groups for LGBT parents. We are in Dallas, so even though it is such a large city and has a lot to offer, I know we will still face some of the same issues since this is Texas.
RE DX for me: Anovulatory cycles/Mild PCOS RE DX for DW: Endometrioma on left Ovary. Reciprocal Ivf Feb 2016. DW eggs and I am carrying. EDD: 10/27/16
We are in Dallas also and wondering the same thing. I've tried doing some research online, but coming up short. We are not opposed to regular classes too, but just want to be sure they are inclusive before we go.
