Do you "know" what your having?

Hi ladies,

The first thing I thought after finding out I was having a baby was: "I am REALLY pregnant and it's gonna be a boy!".

A week earlier (1.5 weeks after conception) I was browsing through a store and for the first time in my life, I took a look around at the baby section (nope, never did that before) and I instantly walked over to the boys side and checked out every item they had. I didn't even go over to the girls side. Bought a white onsie with grey stars "just in case". So even before I knew I was pregnant, my instincts told me that it was going to be a boy.

So, I am dead set on the fact that we're having a boy and was wondering if you "know" what your having or have no specific feeling at all. And if so, is there a specific reason? Let me know!

I am with @rabbitheart15 but I have the feels that its a boy.  However I don't plan on dressing a baby  up in one "gender" or another so this baby only has multi stripe, solids and dinosaur clothes.  Because dinosaurs are for everyone!

DD has a lot of dinosaurs too, they rule. I was planning on dressing her gender neutral as well, but once she was here, I started buying some girlish-yet-stylish pink stuff as well as the more neutral stuff.

Well I "knew" I was having a girl with my previous pregnancy.  I was wrong.  So...no, I have no clue, not even going to go there this time.

I am the twatwaffle today...totally unfocused and bumping at work when I should be preparing for the work trip I have Saturday. I need to get my shit together, but all I can think about is my baby....

I "knew" I was having a girl my first pregnancy, was drawn to the girl stuff, barely looked at the boy stuff, had the perfect name picked out. Lo and behold, it was a boy...Sometimes you can mistake your intuition for wishful thinking!

Have you tried looking at the Chinese gender chart? Everyone I inow who has kids I've checked theirs and the chart was right! I feel like mines a boy and the chart confirms that.. I guess we will see!

As of now I have no clue but am leaning towards a boy...my mom doesn't know I'm pregnant but she told me she has a feeling my first will be a girl (would be the first girl grandchild for her) so who knows!!

The numbers on the side are the age of the mom when baby is conceived and the months along the top are the month you conceived in

Yeah, it was wrong on my last pregnancy.  Says a girl again this time around.  we shall see.

Chinese calendar Says girl, my gut says girl but could just be wishful thinking. A happy healthy baby is all that matters in the end!

@MissVowles the Chinese gender chart was wrong for me last time. It says I'm having a boy this time, too.

No strong feelings yet, but I don't think you can "know" anyway. Either way you feel, you have a 50% chance of getting it right, so it's probably luck.

In the calendar, for month of conception, do you put the month of your LMP or the month you O'd in?

I have a feeling it's a girl and we have two boys already (just because everything about this pregnancy is a shocker).  I'd be happy with either - the idea of 3 boys is absolutely awesome and chances are my uterus is only blue - and it'd be kind of fun to piss everyone off that says "Oh it really needs to be a girl....girls are wonderful....I love girls...blah blah blah" - I hate those comments, especially given our history.  A HEALTHY baby is all I'm asking for, stop doing the gender preference comments!

I go back and forth with my thoughts...I know it's silly, but it's still fun to try to guess! We have a boy and a girl already, and I was dead wrong with both. So every time I think it's a girl, I think well, that probably means it's a boy! And vice versa, haha. Guess we will find out in a few months!

A lot of people believe in your bodies natural intuition. I was in complete denial with my first... I had no signs except my whole family thought boy. I wanted a girl so bad. But it was a boy and he's the best little boy ever. So I wouldn't change it. I'm praying this one is a girl... My husband is one of two boys and my siblings have mostly boy which means my dad has 6 grandsons lol my mother in law needs a girl to spoil for once too.
I did have a dream night before last that I named her "Kimmy" after my late mom. I never had a dream with my son that a sex was involved. So maybe it is a her? Idk but fingers crossed

I don't mind if its a boy or a girl as long as it comes out healthy and lives a happy life!

I hope that chart is right. I did it with my first born and it said boy and i had a boy which is what I wanted. This time it says girl and im really hoping for a girl. My sister just gave birth to a baby boy today and it predicted a boy for her too. Hoping the chart is correct

I don't have that feeling yet! But it hasn't really sunk in that in pregnant either. I absolutely knew I was having a girl the fist time around and was right!! Because DD is super girly!

I have no idea but if I had to guess I'd say girl. We already have a girl and I'd love another girl. One of each would be great too, though.

Since I'm 3 for 3 so far, I'm going to go ahead and bet this is my 4th daughter.

The Chinese gender chart for June and May both say girl, so I hope it's right!  We would be happy to have a little guy though!  The biggest concern is being healthy.  We should all come back in a couple months and see if we're right!  (Or at birth for those who are waiting.)

ETA: PS- The Chinese gender chart was right for my first!

The Chinese gender chart said boy on my first and I had a boy. This time around it says boy again! But so far I feel totally different and since before I knew I was pregnant I have been having signs it's twins!

Chinese gender chart said boy for first (right), girl for second (wrong), and says boy for this one.  We'll see.

I never had a feeling with my first but I had two dreams it was a boy, one prior to our scan when we found out it was a girl and one after.

I think girl, and my son thinks girl (by thinks I mean wants, therefore calls the baby "her").  The Chinese gender chart says girl too.  I was right that DS was a boy, but it IS a 50/50 chance so...

The chinese gender chart says I am having a girl, which would make me very happy. Although I am a little hesitant to believe that every 31 year old woman in the world who conceived in June is having a girl...

I am 2 for 2 at this point. I had no doubt my daughter would be a girl.  My mother had just passed away early in my pregnancy and I just knew she was a girl. Was pretty sure #2 was a boy.  No idea what #3 is.  I am leaning towards another boy but no gut feeling this time.  You have a 50/50 chance.

I am kinda hoping for a girl. We have a 7yr old son. But I've been calling this one he since I found out. I did that with the 1st, and I was right.

I have no idea, but my husband is convinced I'm having twins because that would be just his luck.

With my first I thought for sure it was a boy! I did the same thing when I walked into stores. I would go straight to the boy stuff. I thought for sure it was a boy because people always say they "knew". Welpp I had a girl! Lol. My second pregnancy the same thing happened. I was so sure it was a boy. Because my symptoms were so different with both pregnancies. Well I had another girl. This time im not even guessing. Im hoping its a boy... But I would love a girl as well (honestly i can't even imagine having boys at this point... Everything we have is so pink in girly.)

Last time I was sure it was a boy from very early on and it was. This time Dh keeps pressuring me about what my gut says lol. I want to say girl, but I'm also afraid it is just wishful thinking.

No preference for us. With my first two, we had lots of girl names and only one boy name for each pregnancy. Boy each time! Same thing this time around...we have one definite winner for a boy name and several girl names. Hmmm...

I really really wish it's a girl, but I know he is a boy it's my first pregnancy so no previous experience with symptoms it's just the feeling

Ovulate twice and have a birthday in the middle of ovulation??  Or ovulate twice in two different months (end of May/beginning of June)??

I'm really hoping for a girl this time around.  Last time we had an 18wk ultrasound that told us we were having a girl and it turned out to be wrong (found out at 37wks it was a boy)  He turned out to be a perfect litte boy but I'm really hoping to give him a little sister...especially since I have boxes of girls stuff saved from before!  Might insist on a blood test this time just to be sure.

DH wants a boy.  SD13 wants a little sister.  I just want a healthy baby, but if I allow myself to think about it too much I see myself with a boy.  One of my good friends said she thinks we are having a boy.  So far she is 4 for 4 with all of our other friends' babies!
