I think that the monthly pass is the best deal, you get all the internet access and meetings. Meetings are important because when you know you have to go stand on a scale in front of someone it keeps you honest! Also I have found some of my best food ideas from other meeting members. Its important to find a group you like so if the meeting you go to is blah try another on a different day!
I did the monthly pass the first time I did WW in 2006. I lost 25-ish pounds the first time around and then stopped doing it after we got married. I gained it all back and then some. I'm currently doing it again but not going to the meetings. I kept all my stuff and and group of friends and I are doing it together. We still weigh in once a week I'm just not paying for it this time. I did find the meetings VERY helpful though. GL!!
I'm not a mama, but thought I'd add my response. I did WW for 20 months and lost 88 lbs (I lost the weight in 14 mos and stayed on the program for a few months afterward). I did online only. I'm not a meetings kind of person, but I also liked the online tools for logging food and activities.
DH and I are going to be starting a sort of modified plan based on WW, but without joining officially. We both have gained some weight since planning our wedding and beyond. :-( WW's system definitely works!

I've dont weight watchers off an on for years. The 1st time I did it I lost nearly 100 lbs...I was pretty overweight! I did the meetings and it seemed to work pretty well b'cuz I would lose focus when I tried to omit them. The last time I did it was before my wedding and I did the monthly pass which combines the meetings and all the online tools. I found that was the best option by far b'cuz I had no excuse for not tracking since I'm online all day at work. I also think joining with a girlfriend will really make it a bit easier because you won't be alone in counting points or dreaming about food. Plus a little friendly competition never hurts either. Hope this helps and good luck!! I'll be joining again in about 20 weeks...my husband too. Seems he's put on some baby weight too...lol

I too did the monthly pass and went to meetings.I enjoyed the meetings. Some are better than others. The one that Annette and I most regularily attended was in Everett on Thurs at 7pm and she was GREAT! SO much fun!
It gives you something to look forward too when you go to the meetings. I would look forward to getting ont eh scale every week there. (Sounds crazy huh?)
I ended up loosing 19 pounds in the 3 months I did it. (I did not work out either) They do not allow PG women to do it, so I have to quit. I plan on oind a modified version of it, as really it just keeps you aware of what portion sizes are and the like. That is really the KEY!
I do plan on doing it again after this baby is born. I am 20 pounds below my pre-PG weight from Audrey right now. I'd love to loose another 20 for my ultimate goal after the baby.
Hey Caldwell! I've always done the meetings. You get lots of great ideas from the other members. I always felt better about myself after going to a meeting. The monthly pass is the cheapest and you get access to all the online tools!
