Genetic testing and heart defects

Hello. Does anyone have experience with genetic testing after having one child with a congenital heart defect?
My first was born with Transposition of the Great Arteries and now that I'm 12 weeks pregnant with my second child, my OB is sending me for genetic testing.
I've been told over and over that TGA does not have a genetic link. So any idea what they would test for? Just curious as my appointment is next week.
