Cervix Pain at 36 weeks?

Okay Ladies, I have been having shooting pain in my pelvic area. My cervix is soft but I was not dilated last week. What does this shooting pain mean?! It's super painful and is causing some discomfort on my sides as well. I don't go back to the doctor until the 14th.

No one can tell you for certain what your specific pain is, you should call your Dr for that, but sounds like lightening crotch to me!

lightning - as the baby starts to drop and engage it's creating pressure- while a bit of a shock and uncomfortable, it's normal and doesn't mean baby will come early

Could be lighteing crotch but no one, other then your Dr, can really truly tell you what is going on. Sorry.

I have the same pain. Especially after I take my dogs for a walk the Doctor told me it was the pressure of the baby. He said since the baby is growing everything inside is stretching inside me. He recommended for me to use like a band to help the weight of my belly.
