Hey all!! 32w4d. I go this Thursday for my next appt. I'm interested to talk more about inducing with my ob. I'm feeling pretty uncomfortable most of the time. She's still sideways and keeps shoving her head up by my ribs. I've been doing exercises to try to get her to move or flip. No such luck yet.

Qotw: first wish: is that my grandparents were still here to meet my daughter. Second wish: that I could travel anytime anywhere with no budget. Third wish: eat whatever I want and gain no weight. That would be awesome. Lol

    Hey Ladies -
I'm 38w4d! I'm feeling good. Just super swollen and the warm temps aren't helping. My lower back hurts so bad sometimes it's hard to stand and sit. Good thing I'm in the homestretch now! I have an OB appt again Wed. I love that I'm at weekly appts now!! Hoping I've progressed since last week.

    QOTD: Fun question!!
    1. That everyone in my family will live a long, healthy life (say 100 years!).
    2. To bring DH's best friend back.
    3. All stray cats/dogs find good homes.

    Have a great week! :)

    1) How far along? We are at 38w+1d - It's a boy! and OMG where has the time gone? At any moment DH and I will go from a just a crazy couple to a crazy family of 3!

    2) Any appointments this week?
Weekly appointments - last Thursday's appointment went... awkward. Our surrogate wanted to start her maternity leave but the MW wouldn't sign off on it. She argued with her until she was about to cry then she just gave in and agreed to work another week or until delivery. I felt so bad, but after we left she said she guessed it was for the best... and would give her more time to relax and spend time with her daughter... so I suppose that is the bright side. But in the midst of all this the MW didn't check to see if she was dilated or not... is that normal? I feel like at 37/38 weeks we should know.

    3) How are you feeling?
I can't focus on anything... at all. All I can think about is our baby and the moment when I hold him in my arms. I probably check my phone a million times a day just waiting for that one phone call. He'll be here any time now!

QOTW: If a genie gave you 3 wishes what would yours be?
    1) For DH and I to have a perfect credit score
    2) For our new son and our whole family to live long and happy/healthy lives
    3) To be able to travel in time without repercussions

Hope everyone has an awesome week!!!!

36+2 and the babies are hanging in there with no regard to their poor mom - who is barely getting 4 hours of piecemeal sleep at night since they think it is fun to sleep during the day and party all night.  The lack of sleep has also been driven by insane and insatiable itching of my hands, arms and feet.  Had blood drawn yesterday to check for cholestasis.  I am 1 cm dilated, up from 1/2 cm last week.  OB's office is supposed to be calling to schedule c-section for 38 weeks at the recommendation of MFM (finally - communication and cooperation).  However, OB told me if I have cholestasis then c-section will likely be scheduled sooner.  Various family members have been 'betting' on date of the twins arrival, including me - and I picked today.  So far - nothing - which is not surprising since I've never been all that successful in Vegas or Atlantic City.  DH picked 7/9...so we'll see.

QOTW:  1.  Twins arrive healthy and happy with no NICU time.
                 2.  That I would be able financially to quit my nightmare job and do something else for work that I actually enjoy.
                 3.  The time and money to travel with my family and show our children the world.

I am 32 weeks and 5 days. I am still feeling good for the most part. I am really tired and starting to feel more hormonal at this point. I cried twice this weekend for no reason. My next appointment is Monday, and we have our refresher child birth course next Tuesday.

QOTW: I wish to be a stay at home mom, I wish my in laws were alive to meet my little boy and new baby girl, and I wish for a long healthy life for everyone in my family.

    A quick update....

My bloodwork confirmed cholestasis.  I am now taking Ursodiol until delivery and hopefully that will curb the nighttime itching.  I am also being monitored twice a week (NST) now because the condition puts the babies at much higher risk.  MFM recommends delivery between 37-38 weeks.  So I am now scheduled for repeat c-section on July 16 (37+4).  Less than a week to go unless the babies have other plans :-)
