Heard the heartbeat! =D

We had our second appt this morning. ?She fired up the doppler and we got to hear the heartbeat. ? ?Pretty amazing. ?She said it was a strong 150 bpm. ?Also, we kept hearing a static-y whooshing sound and she said that was the baby kicking and moving around. ?Crazy.

The most amazing sound ever! I used to get so excited for my appointments just to hear her heartbeat. Pretty soon you will feel all those kicks and movements!

Isn't that the best feeling? That was the appointment we breathed a sigh of relief at...and it's awesome that you get to hear it for the rest of the pregnancy!

Thats awesome congrats again!    By the way, I've met your dh a few times and he does *not* seem like the "melting into a puddle of cooing" type!  How cute that he is!

Confession.... I already ordered one. ? ?We tried it the other night, but couldn't get anything. ?We asked the doc about it today and she said it would be another few weeks before we'd be able to get anything, and even then it's hit or miss because we're not trained. ?Plus, the home ones aren't nearly as sensitive as the one she has. ?I'm not going to try it again until at least February, so we'll see what I can hear then.
