Sadness after 6 week appointment

did anyone feel sad after their 6 week check up? When they told me I would just come back for my yearly, I went to my car and cried! I think because that was the ending of my pregnancy. It's completely over now, no more going to the dr that I have been going to at least every month for almost the past year. I am also dealing with PPD so not sure if that has something to do with it lol.

Although I was on the other end of the spectrum and wanted to get the 6 week pp over with, could you maybe transfer that energy on to the pediatrician appointments? I understand it's not the same thing, but I find it fun to go in and find out all his new measurements and record them in his baby book.

I felt the same. Went yesterday and was very bittersweet. Happy to be cleared for all activities but sad too. I love my dr and pa. It feels weird because they have been with me through the most enormous change of my life. Plus it feels like I should have it all together now. I don't. But it's better than it was. Now on to this cluster feeding festival for her six week growth spurt. I've got to make a game out of this or something. Lol

@kaitlynn_k I went through the cluster feeding last week. If you come up with a points system or game share it, I'd love to try it too haha! We mamas gotta pass these days with humor right?!
