I have to up my vitamin D because I get super low and I swear I can feel it in my joints! My doctor said a lot of nursing moms are like this. I also take fenugreek - a lot of it. You know you're taking enough when you smell like maple syrup mmmm

I continue on the same regime I have now (prenantals and DHA). Continue to eat a balanced diet if breastfeeding along with lots of water and don't cut calories too much to ensure a good milk supply. For baby our pedi recommends Vitamin D drops, we use the Carlson's brand as it's just one drop (no extra crud like in a lot of other brands) and super easy to put on a nipple to give to baby.
