At 12 weeks I went to the emergency room after I started bleeds heavily. I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma. This means that I have blood in between my uterus and placenta and because of its position it started to bleed itself out. The baby is fine (163bpm and wiggling like crazy) I don't know if this is the same? My doctor assured me that a lot of women experience this and that mine was very small. I am on pelvic rest and was told to take it easy for the next week. It's scary to read everything on the Internet and my doctor went through each of the concerns I had read. I hope this helps:)
Yup! Mine was about 1 cm and I've been spotting/bleeding because of it. I've seen blood in the uterus on 2 US. I agree with PP that my doctor said it's super common and when I asked him why it happened he said "because you're pregnant" haha!
I have it as well. I was diagnosed with one at my 6 week ultrasound and the doctor put me on pelvic rest. At my 9 week ultrasound the baby is growing on track and with a strong heartbeat. The SCH was also minimal and the doctor said it's not a concern. I'm 11 weeks today and haven't bled, it seems like it's getting reabsorbed on its own. Good luck! I hope everything goes well.
