Different/weird discharge??

I am 26 weeks today. I just noticed a really weird different discharge. It's not like any I've experienced up until now. I'm sorry for the TMI but...It is a decent sized "clump" that is clear and is very sticky. It reminds me of the glue that holds mail pieces together (that you can roll out stretch).
Anyone else have this? Any help is appreciated!

I've had this too, but have no idea what it is.  I don't remember having this with DD.

Please call your doctor. I ignored it for two weeks because Internet boards made me feel like it was fine as long as there was no blood. I'm NOT saying there is anything wrong with you, I just wish I had called and maybe I wouldn't be in the situation I am now.

I've been getting it the last few days. it doesn't worry me but I'm planning on asking my midwife tomorrow to be sure. I'll let you know if she is concerned about it and I would definitely bring it up to your doctor.

I called my doctor just to be safe. They said that it could be the mucus plug and had me come in to get checked to make sure. I had no dialation and everything seemed okay to her, I was told that there was no infection, just a different type of discharge. I am just suppose to be very aware and let her know if any watery leakage happens in the next few days!

The mucous plug falls out in pieces and regrows throughout yours whole pregnancy, so it's likely nothing. BUT there is also a chance it could mean preterm labor, so it is good that you called.

I also had a "snotty" like discharge for the past few days and called my OB. They were not concerned because there was no blood, and I'm not having any contractions. She said it could be the mucus plug but it will grow back.
