In case anyone was wondering, there's no need to pump and dump unless you're engorged and need relief. Very little alcohol enters your milk per drink. The alcohol leaves your breastmilk after an hour or two per drink. General rule is that if you're safe to drive, you're safe to nurse. Obviously, it shouldn't be a regular thing...but know that you don't have to throw away milk if you've only had a drink or two.
I was on vacation with my family last week and usually enjoy my wine thoroughly on this annual trip. This time I drank Fre Chardonnay and made mimosas with Fre Champagne. My husband made me virgin piña coladas which were nice in the pool. And I also have enjoyed la croix water with limes. Lol-I promise I don't have a problem with alcohol either, just a fellow teacher on summer break and craving my cocktails!
Same here! I crave a beer when I'm by the pool or a big fat margarita!!! But I've refrained lol!! I'm scared it won't taste the same so I avoid it.
