essential oils for nursing follow up!

I can't remember who was asking about essential oils for nursing. I'd scroll back through but being lazy.

Anyway I went to a doterra class yesterday and asked the rep about all things breastfeeding.

She recommended clary sage first and foremost, she made me a roller ball bottle of this mixed with a coconut oil carrier to rub around both breasts (not near the nipple. Clay sage is intended for increasing supply.

Next up fennel and basil. Good for supply as well. Basil is a bit more iffy I gather. Some aromatherapists recommend and some don't.

And stay away from peppermint! If you're treating a cold or something opt for thieves.

As always you want a therapeutic grade (I like doterra but it is pricey) young living is also very pure. The rep sold me the roller ball bottles for $5 which is awesome. When it comes to newborns and infants you don't want to mess around.

Hope that helps!
