I know normal bp is 120/80 or lower, my dad has an at home machine and i checked mine and it is 134/69 and pulse was 94 ! With my last pregnancy my BP went up in my last month.. But still 3 months and it's sort of up !
As a nurse, that's not really that high. So many things can change your blood pressure (position, a meal, how you slept, stress, etc). I wouldn't let one slightly high BP worry you. Plus, in the medical world, the diastolic (bottom number) is most important and yours is great. Also, there's no way to know if your dad's at home machine is properly calibrated.
Bottom line, don't worry!

My doctor told me they would be concerned when the bottom number was over 100.
Your slightly elevated BP, could have been stress, a bad machine, or activity.
And it's not elevated enough to worry. Especially without any other symptoms.
My normal BP is similar to yours. For comparison, when I was on bed rest with DD, it was RESTING at 150/95, and at one point it was 195/135 when I went into the emergency room.
My top fluctuates between 115-140 and my bottom from 75-83. My doc told me to call when my bottom number goes over 90. My bp is always higher at the doctor, so she's watching me more closely.
Mine was 141/79 the other day (as measured at work) and I was feeling a bit out of breath and like my clothes were squeezing me. I went home and laid down and felt better later.
thanks ladies. I couldn't remember what was considered higher then normal, I knew my top number was a bit up, and the bottom was good but the combo together. I'm just hoping I can avoid the high BP this pregnancy !!

I was on bedrest for 6 weeks with DD, so I completely understand the worry. I've been super paranoid about my diet and swelling. If my fingers even swell a little I nearly have a panic attack. Lol. So I get it.
