Postpartum exercise

I started exercising twice a week a couple weeks ago, at 9 weeks postpartum. It is either spin bike or swimming laps, 20-30 minutes each. I hope to add more sessions and lengthen the workouts as I get into better shape, and get into more of a routine at work. DH and I also used to eat paleo before I was pregnant with this last one. We had to toss it because of the bad morning sickness. Now we're struggling to restart it

I wondered if anyone else wanted to do a thread with weekly checkin for diet and/or exercise to lose the baby weight. Ill head it up, but only if othets are interested. We're going on a cruise in November and I'd like to look better than I do now.

Side note: we walked all over the zoo today. Lots of pushing a double stroller up and down hills. My pelvic floor and butt and hip muscles are WTFing at me right now. It will make up for the crap zoo concession food we had for lunch I guess

lol I'm not ready for regular workouts yet but I think this is a great idea!!

Those double strollers are no joke! I've taken the kids for a few walks. I have a double graco ready to grow and man that thing is heavy when it's full of kids. Lol. My 6 tr old poops out too soon but we did two laps around our neighborhood which is 75% uphill. I'd like to do that every day to start.

Sounds good to me. I've never really had to lose weight before, so it's feeling a little daunting.  My challenge will definitely be diet - I actually enjoy exercise. Since about 2-3 weeks pp I've been sneaking in about 10 mins a day of light strength training - upper body and static core - that won't bother the stitches. Just helps me feel a little more like myself.
