I'm new here, but definitely not new to TTC. My husband and I have been TTC for about 4 years. We've done 3 rounds of clomid. A fresh IVF and a frozen transfer, none of which resulted in a pregnancy. I'm 30 years old and have yet to ever conceive. We are diagnosed unexplained. Just looking to be a source of support to others where I can, answer questions where I can, and gain support when needed.
I just found out that I'm going to be an aunt, and as happy as I am for my sister in law, and excited as I am about being an aunt, its still a bit of a dagger to my heart. I've watched friends get married after we started ttc, to go on and have now 2 kids. The pain is a daily occurrence and I've begun to realize that everyone who knows of our struggles, have begun to stop asking how we are, and believe that we are doing better or fine with it. Truth is, we're just better at hiding it. The pain lives on in us every day.
Anyways. Looking forward to getting to know you ladies.
Here's hoping for a happy ending for all of us!

Welcome, my dh and I have been ttc for 3.5 years. Those without infertility have a hard time understanding what we go through. I wish you all the luck in the world and hopefully you get that BFP!
Thanks guys. Suzykat77 we're open to it yes. We've been taking a break, getting back to being us again, away from all the appointments and stress.
If by 2016 we aren't pregnant we'll start another round. We decided we'd do one more fresh, one more frozen, before moving to adoption.

Hi and welcome! 3 years ttc here. DH has azoospermia. You totally hit the nail on the head. People do stop asking and assume you're okay and it's almost as hurtful as the infertility. But it's totally true; you just become an expert at hiding the way you're really feeling. Sending good energy your way and I'm here if you ever need to talk. Just PM me.
Just came back on @babygotback21 - thanks so much. Your words meant a lot today!

Welcome and hoping you get your BFP soon! The struggles of infertility are so emotional and painful and not many understand it. At least we all have each other!
Welcome! You really couldn't have said it any better. We have been TTC over two years, so like many others here, I have experienced some of the same things you have. Right now my two best girlfriends are pregnant, 1 due next week, the other baby #2 with a 10month old (both conceived 1st month trying). My sister (mother of three conceived naturally) recently told me that she has wanted to adopt for more than a year, but is felt like that would be a dagger to my heart if she did (she's probably right, but I still don't know how I feel about that conversation, hurt I guess). Anyway... You have found the right place, the ladies on this board have been an absolute savior, so know we are all here for you. You can always PM me if you need a chat.
Welcome- We're at 2.5 years. I too am 30 w unexplained infertility and have heard enough "you've got plenty of time" comments. I have not tried the interventions you have, other than clomid but I wish you success and hope I can be of support on your journey!
