For a girl we are thinking of Avery with middle name Leslie (my dads and my middle name, he passed 10 years ago) , our last name is Newbury. Do you think it sounds ok? Avery Leslie Newbury
Love, love, love Sage! I'm a sucker for a lot of "nature" names.
My aunt has a little boy who is 3, his name is gage. Do you think that is a big deal? We are a very close family. However we do live in another country and only see each other once or twice a year.

Oh I don't think that's a big deal at all. Especially since they are different sexes.
Avery and Leslie are traditionally male names. I'd suggest giving your daughter at least one feminine name. Please. I totally understand wanting to use your dad's name so let's pair Leslie with the first name:
Audra Amelia Aurora Anya Annabelle Angela Ava Andrea Alexandra Alexis Amanda Vera Victoria Veronica Vivian Vanessa Valentina
IDK, Peyton strikes me as a unisex name so I think if you give the sister anything more delicate, Peyton will take it as an insult to her femininity down the road.
I think Avery sounds fine with Newbery, and great with Peyton in a sibset, but not with Leslie as a middle name too. Kendall would sound better since it seems the middle name isn't negotiable.
Sage is more feminine than the other two, so a no-go with Peyton imo.
I agree, Avery makes too many of the same sounds. I like Sage slightly better but Kendall goes better with Peyton since they are both unisex. All three are NMS but perfectly fine.
