How do you get your ticker to display?

I created a pregnancy ticker but each time I try to post a reply and copy the HTML code, it just shows up with the text. I'm a techie and can't believe I can't figure this out. :-S

I did this today!! You have to press the >< red button first then paste the text after that then update

What worked for me is copying the picture of the ticker, then pasting it in the siggy box. I couldn't get the link to work.
