Should there be such a big difference in Baby A and Baby B? I am worried this is going to turn out light last time, where one twin didn't have a heart beat anymore at the 4th ultrasound. Last time (2013) one baby was behind a week (in siggy) and this time Baby A is 7w6d with FHR of 131.58 while Baby B is 8 weeks at 159.57. I get such anxiety each week for these ultrasounds....
Well, it turns out I was right unfortunately. Baby A did not have a heartbeat anymore today. Baby B looks great though. I am still sad for Baby A.
The multiples board might be a good place to ask this question. (Though there are a bunch of twin mommas here too) I wish I had a concrete answer for you- I am sure carrying twins again is very difficult and worrying due to your previous pregnancy. Thoughts and prayers for you!
Hi! My babies always had different heart rates - one was usually in the 130s and the other in the 150s. closer towards the end of my pregnancy, I noticed on some of the NSTs they were more similar. IF is such a nasty bitch and we can all relate to the never ending worry once you do fall pregnant! I was pretty bad and didn't really let myself let go until they were born congrats on your babies and Wishing you an uneventful 9 months!

I don't want to scare you but we just lost a twin a couple weeks ago. Our baby B started measuring a few days behind baby A and always had a slower heart rate. When we went in for our 8 week ultrasound, we found out baby B passed literally the day of our ultrasound the week before. Hang in there, it's not over until it's over!
I would try not to be concerned, you are carrying 2 different babies so of course they are going to have different HRs, but they both seem perfectly normal to me? My first U/S with my daughter was almost 11wks, and her HR was only 111- I still remember that because I remember reading so many posts on TB of super high HRs so I was very concered that her HR was so low- Well she is a healthy almost 4 year old now. Now this new baby we did the U/S to check the HR at 7w 5d and the HR was 170! So of course I was thinking this is super high? Well the Dr said the baby is doing very well, and the HR is perfect- so I'm just gonna take sollace in that. If your Dr is not concerned, I would try to just take everything one day at a time- and be at peace. Your babies both have heartbeats. That is wonderful.

@Roeni, my heart aches for you. I'm so sorry about baby A. There are no words for something like this. I'm very glad to see that baby B is still going strong. You'll be in our thoughts.
