  • Sleepy and getting full so quickly. Other than that, I'm great! I saw my little one today :)

No major summer plans. Just working and staying out of the heat!
  • Loading the player...
  • After a week of no nausea and more energy I thought I was in the clear! Then yesterday comes and I feel worse than ever. I wake up tired, I'm super nauseous and this bloat, omg.
  • I just slept until noon, and woke up still tired! 9 weeks tomorrow, looks like it's time for fatigue to be the symptom of the week. Otherwise just some gas and growing pains. If I didn't feel like I was going to fall asleep at any moment I'd assume I just ate too much dairy and wasn't preggo!

I have 2 more weeks of an online class and then I'm fairly free for the rest of the summer (I'm a teacher and grad student so it's summer break), which is good because at this rate I'm just going to sleep away the next 2 months. I have a little family trip down the shore and a family wedding in August but otherwise I'll just be bumming it.

  • Today is the 2nd day I'm feeling normal again! So happy. I'm not as tired and I don't feel like an animal on the hunt always looking for food.

My fetal doppler came yesterday and I spent an hour trying to find the heartbeat and finally found it! But, it was only one so I'll trying when I get home from work to find both.

This summer I'll be doing exactly what I'm doing now. Working and going to school.

  • Anyone else having issues with limbs "falling asleep" while they're sleeping? I wake up and my arm is totally numb, or when I sleep on my side I get the pins and needles feeling in my right hip crease (only the right side... no matter which side I'm sleeping on). It's so annoying! Other than that I can't complain. I'm pretty sure I've already eaten two full meals and I've only been awake three hours. Guess my never-there appetite is on the upswing at 11w 5d!
  • @emililyha That's why I hate sleeping on my side! I'm a back sleeper, but I've been trying to get used to sleeping on my side so it's not as huge a transition when it gets to the point where I have to, but I definitely don't find it comfortable yet, it takes me much longer to fall asleep, and my limbs fall asleep so easily. I don't understand how people normally sleep on their side!

  • 12 weeks yesterday and the nausea and vomiting is back in full swing after a week or so of good days. And the exhaustion is endless!

Seriously! This! Thank you @CaraBoonie ! I'm a stomach sleeper so I'm just worried all the time I'm squishing baby. I know my body won't let me sleep that way eventually but how in the world do people sleep on their sides??!!
  • Two days of feeling pretty tip top. I even exercised today. Go me!
Going to Yosemite in a few weeks. It's a family, summer tradition, so I'm really excited. I'll have to take it easy this year, though. Normally I'm hiking up Half Dome (Which is about 19 miles). I'll be lucky if I can make it on the little 4 mile hikes!
  • Tired. Nauseous. Still not much of an appetite. 11 weeks today. I have had a few hours of relief from the nausea a few days in a row, which has been nice, but it always comes back. Last night I felt like eating some carne esada nachos... So good... But an hour later I burped on the couch, but it turned into full on throwing up my dinner....I didn't even feel it coming on! Guess I ate too much. Ewww I know!

  • I am back to being nauseous.  I did finally poop after not being able to for almost a week.  I thought it would make me feel better, but it kind of amplified the nausea feelings.  I have dry heaved a number of times today, and for the past 30 minutes or so I have been feeling pretty crampy.  Nothing that is super painful, but I still hate the feeling.  I have an appointment next Tuesday, so I am looking forward to that.
I am a teacher, so this summer I am taking it easy.  I feel terrible that I haven't been able to do much with my 2.5 year old DD.  I feel bad every time she asks to go outside, but it is so hot!  And all I want to do is lie on the couch and rest.

  • The nausea is getting better lately but the acne is ridiculous. I am not used to this. I look like I have chicken pox. I'm even breaking out on my chest. I have eczema so I'm used to dry skin problems not acne. Any tips?

I got to hear the heartbeat for the first time today. I was laughing because I was so happy. Every time I would laugh the baby would move and my Dr. had to chase him/her around to find the heartbeat again. It was so cute. I also cried. My SO was with me and he had the biggest smile on his face. What an amazing feeling!

Symptoms: My boobs hurt worse than they ever have last night. I don't pee nearly as much during the day as I do at night. I am drinking 8+ glasses of water a day though so no worries. I can not stop eating. I find it so hard to get full. I have gained 4 lbs since my last appointment a month ago and I know that's because I've been eating terribly. I noticed my crazy is toning down a bit. OH and I have a yeast infection. Lovely.

  • 12w 5d. Nausea is in full force still... Yayyyyyyy. Today I feel like I've been hit by a train and I'm exhausted!!! Pretty sure they lied when they said it gets better at 12 weeks lol. I'm gonna give it a few more weeks though. It helps to remember WHY I feel this way. That there's actually a cute little baby in there.
Good news is that I finally feel like I'm actually "showing". Most of my belly is bloat, but when I bend down I can definitely feel that there's something hard being squished down there and it's super uncomfortable. Physically not able to suck in anymore, when I do nothing happens so I just feel fat.

Ahhh I've always been a side sleeper! I can't breathe on my stomach and on my back feels weird. I don't get how anyone Doesn't sleep on their side :P

Boobies hurt real bad again. Tiny bit a nausea sometimes. Eating so much food. Just tired. Whenever I walk Anywhere even down the hallway at my house I get such bad rib cramps like I just ran a damn marathon. Anyone else?

Overall I'm feeling great, I'm 12+2. Only problem is I am getting light headed, dizzy, and a little confused. This happened when pregnant with my son, I ended up passing out 3 times (once per trimester). With him I passed the 1hr glucose test, and they sent me to a cardiologist who couldn't find anything so he determined the baby must be sitting on my inferior vena cava.

Is anybody else experiencing this? I plan on bringing it up at my appointment on the 2nd, I forgot to to bring it up at my first appointment.

  • I am 12w4d and I'm still fighting bouts of nausea. I explained it to my hubby as the motion sickness without the motion. Constantly burping and small heaves but nothing productive. Everything I decide to eat tastes like dirt, which makes me not eat it, which makes me more nauseous. Its a vicious cycle.

My boob pain goes from dull and achy to very sharp shooting pains when I move.

The exhaustion is a force that I'm tired of dealing with. I could fall asleep standing up if I knew I wouldn't fall down. My poor 2 year old. She's bored out of her mind.

The nasal stuffiness is becoming an issue at night. I can't breathe and wake myself up yet I'm not sick.

This pregnancy is nothing like my first.
