Kicks..... Low low low down there!!

Hi ladies

Looking for some advice, I'm 26 weeks baby is in breech position for the last few weeks I've been getting kicked very low down for about 3 weeks.

Now it's to the point where my lady area feels bruised and the inside of my thighs hurt. Baby kicks away all day like they are swimming so these are not little shoots of pain - has anyone experienced something similar?

Thank you !

There was a thread a couple days titled vagina flutters, or something similar, might be worth reading. Lots of us are having the same sensations.
To get the baby head down, and possibly relieve pressure, I've read that doing cat, cow yoga movements help. As does swimming and spending less time sitting back with feet kicked up. Though at this stage it's not a problem if baby is breech and most of them are flipping and moving constantly.

I get them too! Felt so strange at first but I've gotten used to it :)
  • It's not all the time as she wiggles all around but I do feel like she's Irish dancing on my vagina from time to time.
  • Pelvic tilts help too. I bumped a baby out of down there by doing just a few :)
  • Gotta love those swift kicks to the cervix! Haha. They can make you jump out of your seat! :-O
  • It's funny because I didn't feel them that low until I read a separate post about it. Baby Caleb started kicking me in the vagina that day. feels weird but I love feeling his kicks. The ones to the bladder make me jump every time.
  • Oh yes, im suffering from Lightning Crotch (a name one of my docs told me to Google). My little girl is breech and loves kicking me down there.. Sometimes feels like if she kicks much harder, I'll see a foot appear lol xx
  • Harper took to kicking my left kidney for several days and I could barely walk.  I swear she bruised it.  Glad she moved on.
  • I call it "f*cking Chuck Norris" because it feels like Chuck has kicked me in my lady bits. :)
  • oh yeah, i had this for a couple of days in a row and at first it really freaked me out that baby boy was so low down there. but he is moving around all over the place in the past couple of days. i don't know if it makes a difference, but i am short (5"2), so with the baby at 26 weeks being now more than a foot long, there is really not much space for him! i am sure it's normal and your baby will move around eventually!
