About one week before I had positive OPKs, I was experiencing ovulation symptoms like cramping and aching breasts. My CM was also egg white consistency but I was getting negative OPKs. My husband and I BD'd just to be sure, and then about a week later I had three days of positive OPKs with cramping and pink spotting that had went away almost as soon as it started! I was taking two OPKs everyday, once in the morning and once again in the evening, and for the last three days they were all positive. I would have kept testing, but I ran out.
Has anyone else experienced this? When would you say I ovulated?
Hello, please take a moment to read the "Read first" post at the top of our forum. This board is for women who are dealing with infertility - which means trying for a year or longer, or a diagnosis of inferility. Issues with temping and charting are better posed on the Trying to Get Pregnant board ( be sure to make an intro first) Good luck!
Unfortunately there is no real way to confirm ovulation unless you were taking your temperature. Sometimes your body "gears up to ovulate" but doesn't actually. Also, ovulation pain sometimes precedes ovulation. For your next cycle (if needed) you can use fertility friend to confirm ovulation. Until then you have the right strategy, keep having sex every other day (or as much as you can) and you can't go wrong !
